-"Eggman again? goddamit."
Amy groans and runs to the green hill with Shadow. Amy takes her Piko Piko hammer and comes to Sonic who looks absolutely dumbfounded.
-"Sonic! Sonic! where's Eggman? What's going on?!"
-"Look up..."
Amy looks upward and her face turns from worried to horrified. Those tall black creatures are totally not eggman. This is something else. They have long bodies, this is even hard to call a body, just long humanoid silhouettes. They have no face only big holes with teeth on their heads. Amy is on the edge of meltdown, Shadow is taken aback, he doesn't understand what they want and why they are here.
-"We need others to help. We won't cope with them alone."
Sonic nods and taps something on his watch. His heart jumps out of his chest from panic. They are coming closer and closer. Soon enough Knuckles, Tails and Rouge come to them. Amy tries to beat creature's legs since they're pretty thin and would be easier to break, Knuckles tries to help her with Meanwhile Rouge grabs Shadow, Sonic and helps them to get on top of the creature. It's very hard to concentrate. The creatures are making horrible cacophony of cats screaming, nails scratching on the metal, airplanes crashing and any other noises. They are so loud and they get even louder on top of the creature. Rouge groans and covers her ears.
"Agghh fuck!"
Sonic tries to attack the creature from the front of its head and Shadow attacks its neck from the back, the creature screams and Sonic hits it one more time and suddenly feels like he's getting sucked inside the creature. Shadow grabs him by his hand. He looks at Sonic and tries to help. Sonic tries to run, but it doesn't help. They try their best, but they didn't have enough forces, so no matter how hard he tries, Shadow gets sucked inside the monster with Sonic.
"AAAAAAAGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!"
They fall in the portal to the void.
...
"...uggghhhh..." -Shadow groans quietly.
Sonic just lays next to him without forces. He tries to move his hand, but it's hard.
-"you alive...?" -Sonic mumbles
Shadow looks at Sonic
-"Yeah..."
They lay against each other, Shadow closes his eyes, his head hurts, he hears white noise in his ears. On other hand, Sonic tries to sit up, but regrets that just after some seconds because his head begins to hurt too. And suddenly they hear some familiar voice:
-"Guys?! You get here too?!"
