5. 𝕴𝖓𝖐 𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝕭𝖑𝖔𝖔𝖉

When the dead grass under my boots changing to hard ground and small pebbles, I knew we were close.

"You lot," I spoke, getting everyone's attention, "there it is." I pointed at the cave about half an American football field.

I quickened my pace. When we arrived, I put my left hand at the entrance. "If anything happens, sacrifice orange hair." I said, obviously joking.

"What? No! We'll sacrifice you!" He retorted, causing me to chuckle slightly.

I take off my velvet hat, pulling a bottle of green tea from it, unscrewing the cap and taking a small sip before putting in back in my hat.

"If you all wish to attend school alive, I suggest you follow my lead. Only attack when anything inside is vulnerable. Hopefully there aren't any monsters, but if there are attack when it is weak to do the most damage."

"M-m-monsters?" Blue head asked.

"D-d-duh." I replied, mocking him.

"What are you lots' names? The headmage never told me." I asked, finally.

"Oh uh I'm Ace," orange head started, "that's Deuce," he pointed at blue head, "that's Yuu and Grim." he finished, pointing at the trouble child and the weasel.

The weasel spoke, "You wanna go inside THERE? It's pitch black!"

"Yeah, just follow my lead." We entered the cave, it was dark with glows from the bioluminescent pink, blue, and red crystals. "This is soo aesthetic." I quickly snapped a photo for my Magicam. 

"So this is the Dwarfs' Mine.. Long ago, this mine was flush with magestones." Blueberry looking ass said, I didn't bother learning his name.

Suddenly a high pitched voice spoke, "Hee hee hee hee! Visitors! The first in ten years!" It was a ghost? 

Another slightly lower voice spoke, "Do make yourselves at home... You can stay forever!"

"Yeah, to hell with that." I replied. "I might be a bit mad but I ain't stupid."

"If we stop to fight, we'll never get anywhere. Let's just keep moving." Dice or whatever his name was said.

Because it can never be peaceful, Ace ran his mouth, "Sure, but don't act like we voted you team leader. The only reason we're here in the first place is because of that stupid stunt you pulled." 

"Look, since I'm the oldest, I should be the leader." I replied because duh.

The problem child mediated the fight before things got heated, "All of you, calm down./Wait... I think I heard a voice just now." A small noise was heard by literally everyone except me. "...iiivvv... ...oooouuu..."

"Yeah, I agree with Yuu," I replied, putting my left elbow on his head, "because you can't fight with the truth." Fortunately for Yuu, I wear deodorant unlike half of the school. (cough cough Savanaclaw cough) 

"Seriously though, if harm comes to any of you.." He counted them, "..four, Crowley will kill me. JK that big bird impersonator couldn't hurt a fly even if he wanted to." I said, putting my elbow down and chuckling softly.

"Wh-where's that comin' from?" Pasta name asked.

"Where's wha-" I was cut off, (again) "...neeevvvaaa... ...iiivvv... ...ooouuu..."

"Sounds like... it's getting closer..." Deucy Loosey replied.

"Really captain obvious?" I asked, acting suprised.

"Stooonesss... Stooonesss aaare miiiiine!" I turned to see some kind of dwarf phantom.

Deuce asked, "What is that?!"

"That's a phantom," I replied unconsciously in front of the freshmen, "you don't mess with phantoms."

Grim whined, "Myaaah! No one said there'd be monsters! Let's get outta here!"

I sighed, "I literally-" I was cut off by Ace, "That thing's super creepy! But didn't it just say something about 'stones'?!"

"If you just let me t-" "Wait, what?" Grim cut me off.

"You freshm-" Then the phantom cut me off, "Stooonesss... ...nevvva give stooonesss...!"

Then Grim, Ace, and Deuce screamed. Yuu has been extremely calm through all of this.

"Shut up!" I yelled, getting everyone's attention. "It's obvious there are still magestones here. It seems it would be imperative to defeat this phantom to get the stone." By the time I finished speaking, the party had already ran away. I sighed. 

"Box of Tricks." I reached into my hat and pulled out two pieces of brass. I slipped on the two brass knuckles. "You're on bitch."

I high jump kicked the phantom in the head, knocking it over. I repeatedly punched the phantom in the head. The black ink dripped from the shattered glass head. The phantom stopped moving as the 𝕴𝖓𝖐 𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝕭𝖑𝖔𝖔𝖉 mixed. I took off the ink and blood covered brass knuckles and put them in my hat. I let out a laugh of triumph. I licked my blood off my fingers. I picked up the magestone the phantom was guarding. "All this over this stone?"

I clean my face with the handkerchief in my right pocket. I left the cave to find the freshmen plotting not far away. "Did you lot miss me?" This made Grim scream. "I took care of the phantom, he won't me be an issue. I got this too." I gave the stone to Yuu. "Now how about we go back to campus?"

"H-How did you..?" Deuce starts. "Don't worry about it." I reply, giving a menacing grin.

3𝖗𝖉 𝕻𝖊𝖗𝖘𝖔𝖓 𝕻𝕺𝖁

Yuu noticed a small black matter on the underside of [Y/N]'s right forearm, but he decided not to pry. As they all walked, [Y/N] keeping at the back of the party. Nothing was wrong with him, right?

[Y/N] left for Heartslabyul before they could give the stone to bird man.
