And time skip to a few days later at lunch time.. George looks very pale and queasy.. and he hasn't talked to Dream too much today..
I know something is wrong but I don't know what. He looks really sick. Clay thought. "Hey, are you okay?" Clay asked. Maybe he is sick and doesn't want to say anything.
George doesn't respond.. and Dream can see his breath is a bit.. oddly heavy.
He doesn't even acknowledge my question... what is going on? Clay felt himself getting nervous. I can't just sit here and do nothing, He thought.
What should I do? Should I help him? I mean, we may not be very close or anything but I can't just let him be sick. Clay thought. I guess I have to go check up on him.".."
Clay quietly stood up and walked over to George. Clay looked to see how he was doing, he still looks sick, like really sick, Clay thought.
Clay then put his hand onto George's forehead. "Hey, uh, George... you look really pale."
Is this guy dying?! he thought to himself. Should I call for help?!
Thats the last thing I hear before everything goes black. I passed out. I'm not even sure what happens next.
Is he dead?! Clay thought panicking. He's not moving at all! What am I supposed to do?! The class was getting really loud. Oh god, I'm going to cause a panic. The whole class turned their attention to me and George. I could hear people mumbling to themselves around the class. Why should I care?
People started walking over to us. They are going to help him now! Right?
Nope.
Everyone just stared at me like I am a freak. Oh my god!
Some teachers come in with the nurse and the teacher escort the school from the lunchroom telling them to just take their trays to class and finish eating their. So everyone does.. Even Dream, since he were forced too leave him, he had no choice.
So Dream also has no clue what happened next.
Wait... what? Clay thought. Oh god...
Clay took his tray and walked back to his seat in class, wondering what was going on with George. Is he alright?
Clay finished his lunch and looked out the window wondering what was actually happening. Then the bell rang which meant time to go. Oh god... I hope George is alright. Clay thought.
The teachers all come back to class looking uncomfortable and uneasy.. But they don't mention anything. But Dream doesn't see George for the rest of the day either.
I know there is something being hidden from me right now. The teachers all look uneasy, but... they aren't really saying anything. Do I ask a question? That might seem super awkward.
Clay didn't want to ruin his first real friendship either, so he decided to not ask any questions.
He continued listening in his class hoping that he would hear something that might give him an answer. But there was nothing. George was just gone, and everyone was acting like nothing happened...
Time skip and oddly enough George is right back at school the next day.
Shouldn't he stay home?? Doesn't he need rest.
Huh? How is George back in school? What happened last night. Didn't he pass out in the lunchroom? What happened? Clay thought. And why is George back? Shouldn't he be at home, resting?
He walks into the class, and sits down in his exact same spot. Okay, time to confront him.
"Hey George..." Clay spoke softly.
"Hi Dream"
Okay... not strange that he has no problem speaking today. He's acting like nothing happened. "Hi..." Clay replied.
"Are you alright?" Clay asked almost in a caring yet nervous tone.
"Yeah yeah im fine" George says.
It seems hes wearing a bit of foundation.. ?? not all over his face either its very very subtle.. but its just in a few spots only...?
George is wearing foundation... Clay thought as he noticed the subtle touches of make up. But why?
"Alright..." Clay said. Maybe he is wearing foundation because he isn't feeling well? "Glad to hear you are doing alright." Clay said to him.
George just nods..
Something is weird. "Do you mind if I ask you something?" Clay asked gently.
"Hmm?"
Don't scare him now. "George, don't freak out, but did you put foundation on?" Clay looked at George nervously but he was determined to find out why George looked different today.
"No what??"
Then Dream says "So If I were to rub it, it wouldn't come off?"
Dream then goes to rub it off of Georges face, George flinches and pulls away but not fast enough and its comes off revealing a big bruise, George quickly covers his face with his hand and lunges from his seat and runs to the bathroom.Oh god. Was that a bruise? But why? Who did this to you?
Clay was at a loss for words. Should I go after him? Do I make the situation worse? What should I do?
Clay sat down and held his head in his hands, debating what his next move should be. I hope you are okay George.
George stays in the bathroom for a while before coming back, and Dream can't see the bruise anymore. He covered it back up.
The bruise is gone... but how? Did George put make up back up on his face? Wait... Clay thought to himself as he looked at George closely. That's definitely foundation! Did he quickly put more make up on or did he just cover it up? But why?
Clay was super confused about what was happening and even more confused about what to say. Do I act like nothing has happened? Or should I confront him about it?
George doesn't answer any questions.
Clay decided not to make a fuss about it. He doesn't want to draw any attention.
But then Clay noticed something else.
George is covering up his wrist. With that hoodie paws thing. But... he is clearly doing it on purpose. Was it to cover up something else? Does he have more bruises? Why is he hiding this?
Clay decided to ignore it, for the time being. I'll have to confront him later though... He can't hide everything, forever.
