"This just can't be!" The once composed nurse yelled, hand on her mouth and eyes wide.
"What is it?" Andrew asked, brows hard and dominance leaking out his his pores.
"This cannot be right, I will run the tests again and get back to you in a couple minutes. Sorry." She said rushing out into the examination room.
Massimo looked at Olivers quivering form.
When he walked up to Oliver and looked down at him Oliver sensed his presence and his confusion but also anger.
'Is there something wrong with me?' Oliver signed, hands coming to his lap and picking at his nails."We don't know that yet Ollie, she will come back with your results in a few minutes. Hold on for now."
And as promised the nurse came back out and held her clipboard close to her chest.
"The test are right, and all I have to say is I'm sorry. The school will give you a hard time. Now for your test results."
"Oliver Noah Swan, vulnerable condition. Blood rating 98, extremely rare. Most likely to be put in the thrall or slave, maybe submissive branch in the superior. We have also found counts of a special human to cat hybrid deep within him, which will be dormant until his 15th birthday." The nurse said, Andrew's jaw dropped on the floor and everyone was dead silent.
"Oliver you have the highest blood rating ever recorded in history, I'm sorry I can't help you. You will courted or forcefully taken by a vampire higher up, I would say watch your back in the school." The nurse said, a sad look in her eyes.
"He starts school on Monday Helen, that's two days. Hell he can't even see or talk, he will be ripped apart! What can we do for him." Andrew said, getting up from his chair in anger.
"Well Mr.Creed we can put a collar on him, we have choices here in the next room that you can put on him right now." The nurse said, guiding Andrew to a dark room in the far left corner.
Everyone was silent when they were gone, thinking about what this means for them.
"I can't take it anymore!"Jess screamed, "Oliver its always you being the special one and not me, you had always stolen my light and fathers and brothers attention! No one pays attention to me anymore!" Jess yelled as she pointed at Oliver, tears leaking out of her eyes. Fake tears mind you that, but Vincent didn't think they were fake as he came up behind her and tried to reassure her and comfort her. When Jessie's tears stopped he he gave a hard look at Oliver, small little Oliver who sat shrunken into his wheelchair with his whole body shaking, tears leaked threw his silk eye patches.
He brought his hands into the air and tried to sign but his hands were to shaking, and when that didn't work he opened his mouth.
When he tried to say the words "I'm sorry" it came out as a silent voice, that couldn't be comprehensible. That made him more frustrated and he put his hands on his ears, trying to stop the tears that just kept flowing.
"See Oliver you can't even say you're sorry!" Jess screamed, now all the attention was on her as Oliver sat in the other side of the room alone, silently crying to himself.
And finally he had signed the words, 'I'm sorry, for everything. I won't be a burden no more.' As he kept his head down, tears stopped as he felt an emptiness wash over him. He felt nothing now, no pain or sadness. And when Andrew strapped on a gold metal collar he felt nothing, only keeping his head down and shoulders slouched.
He didn't wait to let his guard down when he was in the quietness do his own room, walking to the balcony and laying down on the hard marble, then falling asleep.
Timeskip Monday:
The week was uneventful for Oliver, he was at the end of Jessie's hatred the whole weekend, nothing new.
Andrew had bought new things for all his kids, because they were moving to Chilly Washington and staying inside the school he had bought them new everything, especially clothes for rainy days.
It is a big stretch, going from Italy Rome all the way to Cape Fear Michigan. The soon to be vampire king controlled all of America so they made an entire new institute for vampires who want to become the strongest, and of course who want to be helpful, that is none of them had gotten a chance to decide as they were summoned to the school.
Oliver had ditched the wheelchair no longer using it, and his eyes can see some again so he took the vail off and just wore light glasses. He was currently packing his suit case, humming a quiet tune to himself.
Around the house has been hectic, seems that everyone had already knew they were going to the institute but him. They were all already packed, all taking over two suitcases. However Oliver just brought one suitcase, full of different kids of clothes and jackets.
While putting in his stuffed animals the maid came in and dropped a suitcase onto the floor at the foot of Oliver's bed where he was sitting.
"Mr.Creed filled a suitcase with things you may need, it might like. Jess had done most of the shopping, and Mr.Creed had put some stuff aswell. The instructions was not to look into it until you land in Cape Fear." The maid said as she bowed and left before Oliver could say thank you.
Oliver looked at the suit case curiously, it was a fairly large suitcase. Two times as big as the one that sat with him, filled with his things he thought he may need.
He had started to walk toward it when his room door burst open, it gave him such a fright he fell right on his butt. He winced and got up quickly, looking back at Ezekiel with disinterest but also fear. It was quiet for a few moments, just the lawn mower in the back filling the silence.
Oliver had notices a sweatshirt clutched between Ezekiel's hand.
"I thought you might want to wear this, for the scent. Ezekiel said, walking up to Oliver and pushing the sweater into his chest. It was a dark mauve sweater with a hoodie and draw strings, Oliver looked at his green jeans and thought the colours would look nice with each other.
Oliver still didn't know everything about the supernatural world, he was still blind to the whole concept from no one telling him anything. His mind was too fumbled to think about such distractions so he pushed the memories away, focusing on the healthy ones.
Moving into a place he's never been before, great right?
Oliver stood grounded like his feet were nailed to the ground, Ezekiel just stood there with his arms crosses over his chest waiting for Oliver to slide the sweater on. Oliver got the hint and threw on the sweater, body swimming in it he got lost. Ezekiel huffed a laugh and helped him get in, and when it was fully on it reaches his thighs and the arms were long and you couldn't see his hands, Oliver frowned and looked at Ezekiel.
'It doesn't fit' he signed.
"I know it's not going to fit kid, it's just so none can smell you." He said walking to the door.
"Do you want me to bring down your suitcases?" Ezekiel said.
Oliver shyly shook his head, not ready to ask for such things.
And just like that they were all at the airport, boarding onto the plane that will forever change their lives.
