Inaudiable breaths and talks clashing over echoed through the halls. I was still being carried in the bag where I couldn't see a thing. But I have great listening abilities and I knew I was someplace big. Like a chamber. Or a cathedral.
„Grrreat! We've got another victim. We just got to jail it in one of the upper chambers and starrrve her until it breaks out and...it's poor, little tortured soul will come right to our open chest"
A female voice echoed, still inaudible. Where was I? This question has been bothering me ever since. But I still was feeling really odd. Maybe that's why I didn't panic straight away. Or maybe they drugged me.
„It's a human. I-i think...“ The eerie bone creature spoke, now with a trembling voice. the I felt my whole body and my sore wrists scratch with the tight rope as I hopelessly turned around, trying to see something from the dark hole.
„You...you THINK?“ Suddenly, somebody dropped me.
„Ouch..." i yelled out silently as i felt the heavy floor approaching me as my heart fell to my stomach. My hands touched the ground. It was ice cold, and that was through a thick piece of fabric!
Suddenly, i felt the voice increasing as somebody's high heels carved into my skin through the fabric and swooshed me away.
„It must be a child, so innocent..we love them the most! " the womanly voice opened the bag i was in, revealing a sense of light to my eyes. My gasp echoed. It really was a big cathedral, with pearl chandeliers and long windows made from black glass.
„Well don't just stand there, you have some job to do am i right? " she yelled at the guards when they immediately untied my hands. I was free.
Free, until the possibly evil woman started to speak again. Her voice was pitched, and cranky. Not old cranky, but seductive cranky. And her teeth were long and sharp, just like vampire's....
The woman was checking me out, still with a frowny look on her face.
„What's your name?” she asked, clicking the tongue behind her teeth.
„I-i'm Sybil...” I said, my voice shaking as my hand swooshed behind my other.
„Age?”
„16”
„Hmm...” she grinned with a slight smirk on her left eye she made a gesture so I come closer to her.
I moved my body with full force.
„From now on, you're Eden. And you'll call me Master Akasha...understood?” She barked at me as she held my hand and turned in around, I swear I heard every single bone in my body crack. My hand left alone, showing my palm.
Akasha gripped my hand tightly.
„H-how? That's not possible...i thought they were extinct already...” She mumbled under her nose and I tried to catch every single information. But maybe I heard the wrong one.
„What happened?” I snatched my arm out of her grip and looked at my palm. It was perfectly fine!!
„We call your kind...the specials...the...the Imorti.” she grasped as she gave the bone creature a worried look, like...like she was afraid.
Imorti...is that the name of a warrior clan or something? Sounds terrifying enough.
„...” I was too busy with my mind went blank thinking about the word Imorti. What if I heard 'Imorti' instead of some word that actually makes sense.
„Forget I said anything, I shouldn't have. Hagrid will walk you to your chamber.” her voice desintensified and was trembling, this time instead of me.
Hagrid grabbed me by the collar of my cotton veil and threw the dusty bag in the big as he grumbled something under his nose. What an interesting creature...
