"Just know that nothing will happen to either of you while we are here and watching these movies." Strange states as he looks at both Bucky and Atlas who in turn widen their eyes, knowing what's coming.
[1991, a HYDRA base in a snowy landscape. A man enters a bunker and removes a red book marked with a black star.]
People stare at the book and at Bucky wandering what's going to happen while Bucky and Atlas both stiffen and their breathing stops for a moment.
"What does that book do exactly." The annoyingly calm voice of Dumbledore asks but receives no answer from either man.
[A technician raises a cylindrical chamber, revealing Bucky Barnes, aka the Winter Soldier.]
[Bucky Barnes is secured in a chair, a mechanical device either side of his head causing him to scream in pain.]
Natasha calmly grabs Nicky's right hand and squeezes it as she sees him look away from the screen while everyone flinches at the man's screams.
Vasily Karpov: [speaking Russian] Желание. Ржавый. Семнадцать. Рассвет. Печь. Девять. Добросердечный. Возвращение на родину. Один. Грузовой вагон.[1] ([subtitled] Longing. Rusted. Seventeen. Daybreak. Furnace. Nine. Benign. Homecoming. One. Freight car.) Доброе утро, Солдат. ([subtitled] Good morning, Soldier.)
[Bucky Hesitates]
Bucky shuts his eyes tightly expecting to feel the pain each word brings to him but realizes quickly he doesn't feel his mind twisting to become something else and looks at Strange as said man gives him an "I told you so" look.
Bucky Barnes: Я готов отвечать. ([subtitled] Ready to comply.)
"Did that guy just imperio you without a wand and with all those words?" Hermione asks as all the wizards and witch's look at the screen in shock.
"I don't know what that is but I can assure you none of you have ever felt what this is." Bucky spoke quickly looking at everyone besides Atlas.
Vasily Karpov: У меня есть для тебя миссия. Санкционируй и Извлекай. Без свидетелей.([subtitled] I have a mission for you. Sanction and extract. No witnesses.)
[Night. A car is driving down a dirt road alone. The Winter Soldier is waiting at the side of the road with his motorcycle. As the car passes, the Winter Soldier follows. He comes alongside the car and disables it. It slams into a tree. The Winter Soldier brings the motorcycle back around and climbs off. He walks to the car trunk and rips it open, revealing a silver case containing several blue packets]
Tony flinches and recoils away from the screen and the eyes on him that were confused.
[Back at the HYDRA base]
Vasily Karpov: Отлично, Солдат. ([subtitled] Well done, Soldier.)
[2006, in a flying building, a fat man with round glasses and a red face enters a dark, full concrete room with a small boy chained by each of his extremities to the floor. He pulls out a pitch black book with two fiery orange jewels attached to it.]
"Fuck why this." Atlas whispers to himself but the avengers caught his words and looked worriedly between themselves.
Dreykov: We will try this again number four six eight six three, and if this doesn't work or you try to escape again you will receive worse punishments.
[Atlas raises his head slightly and glares at the man, exposing his bloody and bruised face as he opens the book]
Everyone audibly gasps as they see the young face of Atlas while said man is keeping his gaze fixed on the floor.
