Mistakes

They weren't new to anyone, no one was perfect afterall.

This included the symbol of peace and Japan's number one hero, All Might. One such mistake, and likely his biggest to date was crushing the hopes and dreams of a young Izuku Midoriya.

At first he thought it was the right thing to do, it was downright suicidal to become a hero with a weak quirk afterall let alone being quirkless, but he truly realised how hypocritical and foolish he was when that same boy had risked his life to save someone while he stood there.

Like a coward.

A weak hypocritical coward.

To make matters worse, when he went to find the greenette, he was nowhere to be seen.

Infact it was later revealed that he had gone missing and was last seen frantically running from a group of people.

The guilt had began eating away at All Might's concious and he couldn't sleep without finding a body at bare minimum, but it seemed luck was on his side. There were reports of a village massacre on the edges of the Ou mountain range near the Kanto region, sadly reports showed that there were no survivors to this brutal attack.

Except one

Izuku Midoriya's unconcious body was found beaten up and missing an arm but still alive, All Might was overjoyed to hear this, he could only imagine the relief and joy coming from his mother after finding out her son was still alive, -why- he bet she almost fainted from the news. Still he had a job to do as a hero and the symbol of peace, before he spoke to the sole survivor he needed to investigate this mysterious and random attack on a poor defenseless village, which was what he was sprinting through japan to do right now, 'Hold on kid, I'll be there to check on you, but duty calls.'

When Inko Midoriya was told of her son still being alive she was absolutely overjoyed and filled with relief (Infact she almost fainted), of course she immediately hopped in her car and drove to the hospital her son was being held.

And now, here she was, after weeks of stress eating, crying her eyes out, sleeping and repeating the process (In that particular order), She didn't know if he would be the same, afterall she doesn't know what they did to him or how much he suffered, all she knew is that she would love and support her son all the same.

"U-um hello t-this is Inko Midoriya, I came to see my son."

Peace

What a wonderful thing to experience, that was what the now quiet God yearned for all his life, but it could never be that easy.

As the God of Evolution and Growth he strived to create a creature that would bring this peace and quiet he so badly desired, which led to the creation of one of the first ever human-like species, australopithicus, with each passing millenia they evolved until they eventually became homo sapiens.

That's when shit got ugly

Wars? Extinction? Pollution? They did all of that without a worry in the world, this forced him to erase them and every living organism, fix the damn ozone layer MULTIPLE TIMES! Refreeze the ice caps MULTIPLE TIMES! and start again from single celled otganisms.

But each and everytime they would somehow show up! and ruin everything! This was his fourth attempt and it was yet another failure thanks to these! THESE! THESE FILTHY MONKEYS!

Where did he go wrong? How did they awaken his powers AGAIN! First they called it chakra, then they called it magic, and then they called it chi! And now QUIRKS? God damnit!

The God was currently throwing this tantrum in his mindscape after putting himself to sleep after... well... y'know killing a bunch of people. What he didn't know is that he had a guest.

"Um w-who are you? Are you villain?"

The god turned his head around and was shocked to see the child who's body he took over. "Holy shit you're still alive?" Well that was new, most of his hosts never woke up after his hostile takeover, but this kid? He was still kickin'.

"Well I suppose I should introduce myself to you." The god dramatically flew into the air and posed for extra flare. "My name is Y/N L/N the God of Evolution and growth! And quirks now I guess." Y/N floated back down to stand infront of his host.

"Y-you're a god!? That's, that's!"

"Totally unbelievable."

"..." An awkward silence echoed through the mindscape only interrupted by the sounds of water splashing at their feet. "Huh? Did you just call me fake, a liar!?" Izuku immediately realised his mistake, while he didn't believe the whole god thing, he still needed to remember this was a villain he was talking to and he didn't really have the ability to fight a villain especially one twice his size.

"W-well I'm not calling you fake! It's just theres never been any proof of a god existing!" Izuku tried his hardest to avoid climb out of the hole he dug himself in but it clearly wasn't working. "PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!" He said as he held his arms up preparing for a beating.

But nothing happened.

"Y'know what? I'll let it slide." Y/N spoke calmly, turning around. "I've got bigger fish to fry." He then looked back at Izuku before continuing, "You see kid I'm on a mission, unfortunately it's not going as planned."

Behind him, a throne formed made of a flesh-like material, "Not only that, I'm also using your pathetic body as a vessel instead of my own, meaning I'm only half as strong." He sat on the throne, placing his head on his hand In contemplation.

If this kid was still alive there was a chance he could take over his body and then use his powers, he didn't want to risk an emotionally unstable fourteen year old running around Japan with literal insta-kill abilities.

"Alright kid, how about I make a deal with you?"
