It all started when my best friend Akane decided to throw a birthday party at her house. Her parents were wealthy, and let's just say her house was big enough to fit in around 300 people from our lectures. She had been planning it for weeks, and now that it had finally come she was panicking when she invited me over.

( flashback to 10 months ago) ''WHERES THE GODDAMN PLATES?'' She screamed while checking all the cupboards. ''Umm, maybe where you left them?'' I said, handing her a stack of plastic plates. She slowly took them from my hand and said, '' I'm stressing too much aren't I?'' ''I mean, it is just a party, not your wedding or something.'' She looks at me, annoyed.

There was loud music surrounding me as well as people, and being quite claustrophobic, I wanted to escape from the living room. I quickly made my way out, grabbing a glass bottle of water, and bumping into many classmates, before reaching Akane's bedroom. I sat on the bed, my legs dangling from the side. Suddenly, a boy around my age walked in, with a half-full bottle of liquor, and it seemed as if he had been looking for someone. He then sighed, and slowly came to sit next to me. '' I haven't seen you around campus before, have I ?'' I questioned, breaking the silence. '' Actually, I'm Akane's boyfriend's cousin, I decided to tag along with him since I had nothing to do.'' He replied, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly. He looked at me with a smile, his eyes heavy from the liquor.

About an hour had passed, and we had talked about things we had in common, what Nate ( Akane's Boyfriend) was like when we were not around, and other random things, until i started to feel a bit woozy. Then I clocked, I had accidentally got the vodka instead of the water. CRAP.

I told Dylan ( his name ) that I was going to the bathroom, but as I was getting up, I tripped on, well I don't even know, and fell on top of him. The distance between our faces were mere inches, and I could see all the little details of his mesmerising face. His soft, brown hair ruffled like he just woke up, his hazel eyes lined with freckles, staring into my eyes. I felt faint, but I forced my eyes open, so I could get lost in his eyes. His eyes trailed down my face, and before I could do anything or react, he flipped me over.
