Not everyone believes in angels, demons and the sort. The heavenly creatures couldn't care less what humans believed- and they lived a life any human would kill to have.
Every now and then, however, some angels fell. Oh, they fell, not always by choice but because of their mistakes, small things that changed their lives forever. That was what happened to Ithuriel, one of God's most trusted warriors. He was beautiful, his wings the purest white, and he had never sinned or spoken against the Lord. He had for a wife Mel, another angel warrior just as strong and pure, who was pregnant with twins.
One faithful night, the legion of the warriors was corrupted. A demon infiltrated himself in their ranks, and like a bad apple in a basket infected them all, including Ithuriel. He fought the demon bravely, but in the end not even he was strong enough. Dreams of greed and power overtook his heart, blackened his mind, blinded his sight. However the demon had bigger plans for him. With the poison in his blood the corrupted angel came back to his wife, that very night the twins were born. Ithuriel held in his arms his baby boy, who had the deepest silver eyes the angel had ever seen strained on him.
"You'll be a prince in Hell, my son. He promised me, you and your sister will reign by his side." Ithuriel spoke in the little boy's ear. The child began to cry, as the poison of hatred wrapped him in sin, darkening his tiny heart.
Mel watched in terror from her bed as her firstborn was corrupted right after birth. She held on to her small daughter tightly, refusing to let her husband corrupt her too.
"Give me the girl, Mel." Ithuriel growled, moving slowly towards her. His son had became quiet, probably asleep in his father's strong arms.
"No! Demon, stay away from her!" The angel screamed, too tired to get up. It was too late to save her boy, but she wouldn't give up her golden-eyed girl that easy.
As Ithuriel approached his wife's bed, arms extanded, a legion of angels burst through, hearing the mother's scream. Before they could catch the corrupted angel, he smiled a sly smile, his wings turning leathery red, his blond hair raven black, and his eyes turned a shade of a fiery amber. Clutching his newborn son with one arm, the angel's voice became a warning growl, coming through sharpened teeth.
"Our daughter will rule one day, Mel. She has my blood in her veins- she is mine." And with that, Ithuriel and his son fell into darkness and vanished from Heaven, being followed by Mel's screams of desperation and her little girl's scared cries.
