One amazing school morning, during line-up-- how could school be amazing?

One morning, I was in a line. On the tennis court. At school. This was mandatory every morning before we could enter our classrooms. No matter how hot or cold, we had to line-up outside.

--------------------------------------------------

20 September

I was in my classroom. I sat at the back; a perfect view of everything and, surprisingly, the quietest spot in the entire room.

My teacher, Mrs. Brownton, did the register and soon, gave us a rundown of what this week had to offer. 'A dodgeball tournament?' I thought. I wanted to participate, so maybe I could sign up during break.

--------------------------------------------------

Period One

The bell rang and we all walked to our first period. While I was walking, I thought of my crush.

•[His name: Elijah Webb]•

•[Nickname: Eli]•

•[Code name (that I made up with Jerry and my other friend: you'll meet her later): Rainy]•

•[Grade: 10th (just a grade higher than me)]•

•[Birthday: December 5th]•
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Granted, I know only that much about him. He's a very cute guy<3. I just haven't really seen him up close to know what color his eyes are.
On my way to first period, I wondered how I could talk to him. He seemed mean (based off what I've seen), hence why I feel intimidated whenever I find myself near him.
Soon, I made it to first period: Math. I don't like math. We were busy on the topic of 'Pythagoras Theorem'. I understood it to some extent: it's just a²+b²=c², simple stuff. The hypotenuse is opposite the right angle, then some square rooting is involved and etc. Math stuff.
I don't really like maths but I still try my best anyway.
Soon, my math teacher handed out the work we were meant to do. I finished it in at least 20 minutes. Triangles are easy to work out. While I sat there, I didn't know what to do until I remembered what I was thinking about earlier: Eli<3!
'How can I talk to him?' He surely does intimidate me but he doesn't know me. 'Hmm...'
Then it hit me; the perfect idea!: A LETTER. He doesn't need to know who wrote it and the only tenth graders I know are Jerry, Tasha and Atina! They would never tell Elijah who wrote the letter anyway (-minus Atina.). So if I write him a letter, I could ask Jerry to give it to Elijah and see how it goes.
--------------------------------------------------
Break time
I walked over to the table Jerry, Atina amd Tasha usually sit by. So, now you might be wondering: "Who's Tasha?" Let me introduce her.
•[Tasha: My friend in tenth grade]•
•[Name: Tasha Nali]•
•[Grade: 10th]•
•[Her Crush (yes, I know who her crush is): Davis (I don't know his surname)]•
•[Her Crush's Birthday: December 19th (she talks about him a lot)]•
•[Her Crush's Code Name: Bonnet (cause he always talks about bonnets)]•
I sat down and immediately Tasha said, "Hi!" "Hello." I replied. To my right was Tasha's little brother, Terrance, who was a grade behind me. Very disrespectful he is. I then proceeded to tell Jerry and Tasha my idea, using our code name for Eli so Atina and Terrance wouldn't go telling everybody.
"So what do you think?" I asked. "Go for it." Said Tasha, "It's your decision." Said Jerry, in an unenthusiastic voice. He always makes things sound so "don't bother trying it-y"
I was doubtful, I was nervous, but Tasha and Jerry both had History next and Elijah was in that class too. So, I wrote my letter during break and it said:
"Dear Elijah
I think you're very cute. Let's be friends.
-From
Secret admirer"
I gave it to Jerry and once the bell rang for third period, he left and I felt all kinds of nervous.
If only I knew what would happen to me.
What will he say?
