"you play the part of my soul that's missing home.." lucy says wiping her eyes.

i say nothing .

"were you counting stars..?" she asks. When we first started dating a said "every time we see a star. We count it . That counts how many nights we've loved each other"  it was cheesy but everything feels good when you're so in love .

i shake my head.

"well, you packed your bags and had your heart set when you left me for Georgia ." she tells me.

my heart sinks at the mention of my girlfriend Georgia. Georgia Stanway. "you didn't do anything wrong lucy.. it's just.. she's a better fit for me, shes everything your not."

"EVERYTHING IM NOT ?? WHAT AM I THEN??" she tells "everything you shouldn't be." i start "we fight all the time. we're weren't a couple. couples don't hate each other. you didn't want me. no one did. she just holds me and lets me know it's okay."

"you say me and your friends didn't want you but i swear, i did."

my heart sinks a little more.

"do you think we moved too fast..?" she asks . i nod my head as i wipe my eyes "i guess.. we just weren't meant to last." i tell her as i hear her faint sobs muffled beside me.

"i can't move on from that. and i don't have the words to give you anything else." she tells me stranding up . she turns around and walks away. Her sobs getting more quiet every step she took until eventually she disappeared into the darkness.

i give my girlfriend a call "hey baby." she says answering right away. "Georgia.. come get me.. i need you.." i say crying into the phone. "i'm on my way beautiful. stay exactly where you are"

she pulled up and jumped out of her car embracing me into a warm hug. "i love you." i tell her she smiles and says "i know.."
