Skip to a couple months later
Things haven't been going very well at the adoption center. I've been adopted 5 times in the time that I've been here and they all bring me back for the same reasons; either I was to depressed or was being disrespectful to them.
I woke up to the blaring sound of Izzy's alarm clock. Ugh, today is Wednesday or more known as the dreaded adoption day. On adoption days Izzy and I pick out each other's outfits. So, I looked in our combined closet and immediately I spot the perfect outfit for her; light pink sweater, light grey spotted sweatpants, white Doc Martins boots, and an anchor necklace.
When I was finished with putting the outfit on her bed, I went to the shower. Going back to my room I noticed Izzy was up and must've went to get breakfast. I dried myself off and put the outfit that Izzy had picked on. I looked in the mirror and was satisfied with what she picked.
IZZY'S POV
When I got up I realized that I slept through my alarm clock and looked over to see if Angelina had woken up yet. Sure enough she was awake and most likely showering. I ran to out closet and rushed to find her outfit. Her outfit consisted of; a white polka-dotted sweater with a leopard print crown (in the middle), black leggings, and white flats.
Done with putting Angelina's outfit together, I put my outfit for the day on and when to get breakfast considering what little time we had left. Halfway through my breakfast, Angie came down with an annoyed face on and I wondered why but decided to keep my mouth shut. I knew there was something wrong considering she was quiet when she's so talkative.
It's been 2 hours now and Angelina has not said a word and it's really worrying me, when she doesn't talk to you for so long she starts to shut you out. When she shuts you out there's probably only 5% she'll talk to you again. I was looking over at Angie when the P.A. came on and Ms. Gladys started speaking. I tuned her out for most of it but then I heard that there was a "special" person coming to adopt. This is going to be a long day.
