Suspicions. And New Plans. (Guardian Pt. 2)

Fang POV
"I think it's highly impossible," Janet admitted, "Especially since we know that the villain who holds Vinjo is a man since the Kyras saw him doing the deed..."

"So, we've come up with a plan on the way here." Jessie declared. "But unfortunately, it still has millions of holes."

"Well, what is it?" I asked curiously.

"Well..." Leon began. "First, someone bothers Mr. Byron with a lot of questions. Then, I can get my Telepath friend, Storm, to try to dig up his secrets. But the problem is, if he's not distracted enough, he will find Storm in his mind and we'll get expelled, since illegal use of that ability is extremely forbidden. Also, Mr. Byron's mental wall is known for being quite impenetrable, and almost no one can pierce through it. Lastly, Mr. Byron knows how to resist Telepaths by planting a lot of false information in his head, which was confuse us and just make us waste more time!" Leon finished sadly.

Everyone looked dejected. Until I had an idea.

"I have a better plan!" I cried out. Everyone turned to me. "Firstly, Leon, you get someone to enhance you. This way, you can create a cloud of invisibility around all of us. Then, you and I will stand guard outside the door. Since we will pull this off very late at night, there shouldn't be anyone. But just in case, we'll take these responsibilities. Edgar, Janet, Jessie and Colette will go inside and search the room for anything you can find that could be related to Lodestar. Since Mr. Byron sleeps at his own home, he won't know a thing."

"Great plan, Fang!" Leon cried out. "I have an Enhancer friend in mind. But we only have thirty minutes after I touch his palm, because his boost can only last that long, so we have to hurry! Edgar will be there with me so that he can leap me to Mr. Byron's office. I'll meet my friend at the cafeteria near it. Let's carry out this plan tomorrow!"

Everyone left the room, ready to do some serious searching the next night.

??? POV
"Vinjo, conserve your energy for tomorrow. It will be a big day..." the villain smiled wickedly.

Fang POV
It was already morning, and all the 7th Graders were rushing to the exam hall. Worry and unease was in the air as everyone sat down and got ready to take the test. But one person's emotions were the strongest.

"Aha! I can feel that annoyance rising. Fly away, my dear avinia, and take advantage of it! Time to take care of this!" Lodestar declared.

The avinia floated out of the roof as Lodestar raced for the elevator.

Fang POV
The chief invigilator, Mr. P, had finally arrived! His annoyance was etched on his face—he was likely annoyed that he was unable to rest at home, given it was supposed to be his day off. But Mdm Rosa had went down with a cold, so Mr. P had to cover for her. He droned angrily, "Listen to the list of instructions. You are not allowed to..."

His voice faded out as I suddenly saw an avinia floating from above the stage. "Mr. P!" I shouted. But I was too late. The avinia had already entered Mr. P's briefcase.

"King Pengula, I am Lodestar," Lodestar's voice rang across the room. "Upset that you can't have your day off? Well, I'll help you turn people into your royal subjects, then THEY will do your work for you! Then, your secret dream shall come true! Plus, do you remember your old porters? They will return...as your Vika! They are your faithful assistants. All I need is the Kyras of Starlight and Moonlight!"

"Oh no..." I facepalmed as everyone around me ran out. "Exams and finding who Lodestar is will have to wait. Gimmi, bring the storm!"

I instantly rippled with lightning, transforming into Astro. "Teleto, Psionio, get to the Mendel Auditorium ASAP! Lodestar has struck again!"

Then, I stepped out of the shadows to face King Pengula. This time, he had his porters to help!! He would truly be a fearsome enemy...

Hydro, Pyral and Moonshot joined me. "I knew something big would happen...how did Lodestar give King Pengula all these Vika things?" Hydro questioned.

"I bet it's his new powers. If Lodestar really is Byron, the potion he was making must have enhanced his powers somehow." Pyral grumbled.

"Well, time to fight all of these creatures." I declared. King Pengula and his three monstrous porters were watching us.

"Fire!" King Pengula screamed and four blue bolts zipped towards us.

King Pengula had just fired when a loud snapping sound resounded through the auditorium. Out of the shadows came...

Byron.
