"What's the report say, Dr. Han?", they asked.

"Jimin and Hyun-Woo Moon, correct?", he asked.

They nodded.

"This is my first time conducting such an operation, but Saeji shows no sign of Aura use. Her level might be around 1.3 or so."

"Is there any way we can help her?", Hyun-Woo asked.

"Unless she develops her power on her own, I'm afraid not.", Dr Han replied, "Just pray that she develops her power. That's all you can really do."

Saeji pauses the video. How could her own parents see her as powerless? Her mother's power, called Telepathic Conjuring, allows her to create objects and control anyone who comes into contact with those objects. Her father's power, called Advanced Fire Manipulation, is just Fire powers on steroids. Her older brother, Yeong-Ho, has a power called Flame Telepathic Conjuring, which is Telepathic Conjuring, but the objects are on fire. Saeji sighed. She's been working on developing her power for the last eleven years.

Today was the day. She was going to impress her parents and ask them to let her participate in the entrance exams for Hero Institutions. Hero Institutions are schools across the globe that specifically train students to become heroes. After graduation, the students will register with the World Hero Agency and become an official hero.

She replayed the video. It was morning on the last day of middle school. Yusong Middle School was a large school, and Saeji went mostly unnoticed. She put on her uniform for the last time and headed downstairs for breakfast. Her parents had already left.

Her father was a Tier 7 Hero, named Master Huo, and her mother was a police officer for Seongnam Police Department. Both of them started working more after Yeong-Ho graduated from Sejun Hero Academy. He was valedictorian and the president of their Student Council. Now he's a Tier 2 Hero named Kid Dynamite. That's where she wanted to go. She finished her online application and passed their written test, with the physical fitness test being taken by all applicants at the same time.

But it's time for breakfast. Saeji took a moment to stretch before starting. She could do this naturally now. She conjured a person. A man, medium build, average height, slick black hair and brown eyes. He rummages through the fridge, pulling out eggs, milk, and cheese. Within minutes, he had finished completing Saeji's omelette. She sighed.

"Too bad, I really could have been a better candidate for Hero Institutions if I used my power outside.", she muttered between chews.

She finished her breakfast and was ready to leave. She made sure to restructure the man back into air before she left. Now off to school she goes.
