Losing hope

A girl sat at the edge of a mountain, not too high but high enough for a good aerial view of the capital city, Llyn city. She heard the sounds of the bustling city, loud enough to reach her up here. The people appeared as ant-like specks, barely visible. The difference is this was not a mound of dirt but a large, cramped concrete jungle. The buildings rose so tall that they could tower over giants. The girl continues to gaze at the city her long blue pony tail blowing in the wind with the rest of her hair. A cloud large enough to cover the sun drifted over through the sky it's dark colour showing that it will most likely begin to rain which soon enough it did. Starting out as a light drizzle it slowly turned into downpour causing the girl to retreat inwards back into her 'home'.

The girl sprung up as she covered her head with her hands in a futile attempt to keep rain off of her. She began to run and entered what appeared to be an abandoned military base. It was in ruins the floor boards creaked with every step and some where even pointing out of the ground. The lack of a door didn't help either the girl had no protection from the elements and barley any way to keep heat in this place was not at all fictional although, in truth, it was her own makeshift home. The only thing that made it even somewhat homey was the bed which was just a small mattress that was placed on top of a riot shield for some sort of support even if it didn't do it's job too well. The walls where covered in graffiti some just random art where as others had words such as the one above the girls makeshift bed her name 'Hope Dettare'. Around it were other little doodles of random things a lycanrock and a cinderace where the most notable things there along with some love hearts and just some other doodles.

Hope without anything better to do turned on the tv it was an old one much older then her sos he didn't understand exactly how to work it other then how to turn it on so she was stuck on one channel. As the tv turned on the current chancellor of Celidia courtney, appeared on the screen she appeared to be in the middle of some sort of speech what is what about who knows hope didn't exactly care about it she even looked a bit disgusted seeing the chancellor as she got up and just turned it off she didn't even want it as any sort of background noise.

Hope had nothing to do she just sat there on her mattress staring at one of the blank walls in her 'home' which gave her an idea to cure her boredom. She got up grabbed some spray paint cans as well as one of her pokeballs as she let out a cinderace as she let it out while walking to the empty wall and passing it a spray paint can.
"Hey Leah you mind holding this"
The cinderace let out its cry as it held the can
"Thanks" hope smiled as she stroked Leah her fluffy head trapping hopes hand until she got it out.
"So how's your day been" hope began to draw some planes starting with the outline of one.
Leah once more let out another noise
"Ok yea you have been in your ball all day but we can go out later k" hope kept drawing adding 4 more outlines of planes
The cinderace hearing this let out a happy cry with a noticeable smile on her face
"Can you pass me the other can please" the cinderace passed hope the can in her hand as hope added some colours to the drawing and also some fire to one of the planes
"Soooo how does it look" Leah began to look at the the drawing studying it as if she where a professional artist before stepping back and giving hope a thumbs up.

Hope stepped back as well looking at her finished work. She then went over to a pile of clothes on the floor she had no wardrobe so this would have to make do for now. she picked up a hoodie and a face mask as she put those over her already on clothes as she went outside Leah following behind her as she too wore a coat to protect from the rain. It was a bit of a trek to get down from the mountain but it wasn't too bad the two had gotten used it it overtime.

Authors note: Hi so like this is my 1st time writing something so any critiques would be nice I wanna know if I need any improvements anyways hope you like next chapter is hopefully coming soonish but don't ask be about the 3rd I have no idea
