The Notebook

Chapter 1

A cold air brushing off her skin, as she roll down a car window and look outside. The leaf is slowly falling from its tree as the winter season soon come. She smile a little before roll it back up and look at the book on her thigh.

" Let's have a good time here" She spoke to herself.

" We have arrived Miss." a driver inform her.

" Ahh, thank you sir!"

Jisoo bows a little before jumping out of the car and getting her things from the truck. She lifts all the necessary stuff with a groan and sighs.

" Hello sister"

She heard someone speak and when she turn her head around, she was greeting by her sister that she has left since she was 8.

Jisoo and Joohyun had to separate from each other when their parents died in the car accident. Jisoo got taken to Seoul with her uncle, while Joohyun decided to stay at the orphanage in Gwangju until she graduated from high school. Joohyun is now the director of the orphanage where she used to stay, and Jisoo just graduated from a medical school.

" Hi joohyun" Jisoo smile.

" Are you planning on settle here?"

"Wae?"

Irene nods to all her suitcase.

"You packs half of your stuff here."

" Is it too much?" Jisoo scratch her head.

" I'm joking. Let's go!!"

The two siblings enter joohyun house and jisoo start unpack her stuff before joohyun take her on a tour of her house.

" Whoa, I didn't know you are this rich. Our parents must be so proud of you" Jisoo said in awe as she looking around the house.

" Rich my ass. You will soon became a doctor and richer than me"

Jisoo smile a little before processing to brew herself some coffee.

" Do you have map?" Jisoo asked.

" why you need it?"

" I want to stroll around here"

" You don't need map for sightseeing, kim jisoo. Plus it is your hometown." Joohyun rolled her eyes.

" I'm afraid I might get lose." Jisoo pouts.

" Trust your gut sis" Joohyun pat her shoulder.

" Unnie will go to work now. You can warm up the soup and have dinner first. I'm gonna be late"

" pfftt, it's my first day here and you already left me alone." Jisoo compliant.

" Yah I have to earn money to feed you."

"okay okay, just go granny" Jisoo wave her hand.

Joohyun shake her head with a smile before leave the house.

Jisoo finished off her coffee and went back in to her room. She throw her body on the mattress and stare at the ceiling for a while before moving her eyes to the table nearby. She look at the painting of her parents that she barely remember.

" It's still cold even I'm at my own house." She softly said and close her eyes.

Jisoo heard a knock on the door and get up with a groaned. She rubbed her eyes as she went to get the door.

" You didn't eat dinner yesterday?" Joohyun frowned.

" Uhmm I guess, I fell asleep"

" Wash up and come out to have breakfast now"
