Black hoodie, tattered jeans, and a bull-cap levelled to her brows, almost covering her eyesight, while drinking her makgeolli, she stared at it with blank expression, and drink again.

“Are you really sure of getting drunk tonight? You know that we can after all this.”

The woman look at to her side and smiled when she saw some familiar face, and raised her glass to her.

“Just reminiscing the moment the last time I drank this, and it's when I still have them.”

“Do it together with them, I’m sure they will like that.”

“Doing it again with them then,” and she drink it.

The other woman chuckled, “he’s waiting for your final report.”

“Done sending before I went here.”

“Then you still didn’t read our final step?”

“Already did.”

The other woman chuckled, “as expected from you, Lieutenant.”

“Couldn’t wait for this final moment to unfold.”

The woman nodded, “well then let’s go, Lieutenant.”

The woman put down her glass, and left her bills and generous tip, and left with the other woman.

The woman chuckled when she saw her friend having a car.

“Wow, you’re hurting me.”

“I’m sorry, Sergeant, it’s just...”

“Yeah, sticking to my role, hop in.”

And they step inside the car.

“I’ve been wanting to ask you this.”

“Tell me.”

“Does Jennie know?”

“Yes, she knows, she busted me actually,” and she turn on the engine and rode off.

The woman then laugh, “sticking to the role my ass.”

And the other woman laugh.

“What did she say?”

“She sulk and I let her decide.”

“Good.”

“And she understand, I’m so lucky.”

“Yes, you are, woman like her, don’t let her go, Lisa.”

“Of course, Seulgi, how about you?”

Seulgi shook her head, “no luck, and it’s better that way, I will not be guilty when it ends, and don’t mind me, I'm used to it now.”

“If it’s not Joohyun-unnie then I hope that someday you will found a woman that will love you truly.”

“A woman cat, and I found her.”

And they laugh.

Lisa parked her car, and they step out of the car and walk towards the door.

They heard some rustling here and there, when they enter, and then loud chatters, and it didn’t notice them.

“Your loud voices can attract somebody.”

After Lisa said it, all of the men there halted and look back and immediately gave their salute.

“I’m amazed that this operation is still going despite of your men’s loud voices,” Seulgi said, and roamed around.

“It’ll not happen again.”

Seulgi nodded.

“This is a military operation, what is this civilian doing here, Sergeant?”

“Watch your mouth Corporal, you don’t know what you’re mumbling about,” “men, this is 1st Lieutenant Kang Seulgi of the Infantry Regiment, Commander of the 2nd Batallion, 2nd in command in military intelligence, and our 2nd in command of this operation.”

Everyone fell into silent and all look at to Seulgi.

“Don’t exaggerate it Lis.”

“Allow me Lieutenant so they will know their places, a part of discipline.”

“Alright, this is your men after all, they didn’t know me, I don’t know them,” “only one thing,” and she look at them, “don’t get in my way,” and smiled.

“I already made sure that they know about that, Lt Kang.”

They all look back, then Lisa and the other men gave their salute.

“It’s an honor to finally meet you, Lt Kang Seulgi.”

“My pleasure, Master Sgt Moon.”
 
“I’m still nervous upon meeting a top brass.”

“It’s still me.”

“But this is military operation, so expect more formalities from us.”

“Alright, so, what’s the plan?”

“This way,” and Moon lead the way.

Seulgi then followed Moon, and then Lisa.

In the special room, a large blueprint was seen on the wide table.

“We already receive the heads up, my men will only do our part, your target is yours alone, do what you can, after the arrest, you will proceed immediately to the HQ, your uniform will be ready, and we will do it in a haste, we received intel that he’s not alone so, we’re expecting a back-up on their side, or it’ll end up jeopardizing our operation.”

“I think there's a continuation, what is it, Master Sgt?”

“They expect that you’ll get emotional after the arrest, you’ve been working with them for a decade now, so...” Lisa explained.

“You don’t have to worry about that, Master Sgt, finishing my last mission is most important than any of them, haste is always in my vocabulary, make sure that you’ll come up with me.”

“Of course, Lt,” and she walk towards the table and took the case, and then handed it to Seulgi, “you might need this.”

Seulgi knows what’s in the case, “I will not need that," she said, "and Sgt Manoban is there," and she look at to Lisa, "for once, can I trust you with that.”

“Rest assure, Lt," Lisa replied.

“Okay, we’re ready then,” Moon said.

Seulgi went home to her own apartment after the meeting, she didn’t sleep, instead she chose to delete all her media files, emails, reformatting her phone, including her laptop, after that she played video games.

Morning comes, she went to the bathroom to take her final shower in Korea, she walk towards the mirror, and stared at her left arm, she shut her eyes, remembering her fallen comrades, and stared back at her reflection with coldness in her eyes, and left the bathroom to change.

She took her breakfast and after that she left, not taking a single thing, except the tags that her men wore, which she always bring.

She shut her apartment door, when she heard the energetic voice, she look back and saw Yerimie excitedly run towards her, and the other members following behind.

“Seulgi-unnie!”

Yerimie is the one she will miss the most.

When it throw itself towards her she catch her with ease.

“What’s up with you?”

“Nothing, I just miss you, you always out at night.”

“How did you know that?”

“Of course I’ve been on your apartment every night.”

“Where were you every night, unnie?” Joy asked.

“Late night walks, I kind of miss that, so, yeah.”

“I will accompany you next time.”

And Seulgi only smiled.

“What’s up with the leather jacket, Seul, it’s hot today,” Wendy asked.

“I feel like wearing one.”

“We’re gonna be late, I’m riding with Seulgi-unnie this time,” Yerimie said.

“Me too,” Joy followed.

“Are you okay with that Seulgi?” Joohyun asked.

“Of course,” and the two drag her.

Wendy then look at to Joohyun, “are you both okay?”

“Yeah, just misunderstanding,” and she left.

Wendy then grab Joohyun’s wrist.

Joohyun stared at Wendy’s hand and the latter pulled off with hesitant.

“Hear me...”

“Nothing to hear, we’re not in the same page,” and she left.

Wendy sighed and followed.

When they arrived at the company, Joy and Yerimie still dragging Seulgi, until they’re squeezed inside the elevator.

Joy, Seulgi, and Yerimie on the back, and then on front, Wendy and Joohyun.

The whole ride was silent but the tension between Seulgi and Joohyun were present.

“Seulgi-unnie,” Joy started, “it’s impossible if you’re alone on your late night walks, right?”

“Jisoo is with me.”

“I felt cold all of the sudden,” Yerimie stated, gripping Seulgi’s arm.

Seulgi chuckled, “it’s just your imagination,” she said to her while tapping its knuckles.

“Agreed and we’re in the elevator duh.”

“Right.”

Until they reach the floor where they supposed to meet.

They strode towards the conference room and entered.

“Hey, I will follow, I will just take the comfort room.”

“Be quick,” Joy said.

Seulgi nodded with a smile and went to the bathroom.
