I rolled around in my bed in agony. It must be 8:56 I thought. I opened my eyes and looked at my clock. Yep, it was 8:56. I sat up and pressed my hands against the sides of my head. I began to take deep breaths and counting. On an average day I had to count to 600 and the pain would gradually stop unless I'm just having the worst day ever like yesterday. Then it comes and goes all day.

Josh and I had gone to the doctor to see what was causing the headaches, but they said I was fine and there was no probable cause for them. They gave me pain medication, but I didn't take it. I didn't like pills, and they didn't even help that much.

I looked at the clock and, it was 7:05. 595... 596... 598... 599... 600. The pain slowly stopped, and I dropped my hands from my face. I laid back down on my bed. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I better try to sleep before it comes back I thought. And I did, I was asleep within minutes.

I had awoke the second time to the creaking of my bedroom door and footsteps across my wooden floor. I moaned an rolled over in my bed.

"Come on Charlotte you need to get up it is 12:30, and we have something important to discuss." Josh's voice was serious and blunt. I rolled back over to him and opened my eyes.

"What do we need to discuss?"

"Last night at the party you went too," Oh crap I thought. He knows and I'm dead but how? Allison's parents must have called. I braced myself for the defense as he continued. "who were you with?" this question had defiantly taken me back. Why was it important that we needed to discuss this?

"I was with Eli."

"That's all who you were with, no one else?"

"Yeah, I mean it's a party other people will be there." he didn't say anything for a minute then he smiled and said,

"Your right. It is a party." he put the cup of hot tea on my night stand and walked to the door.

"Oh Josh," he paused and turned around to face me.

"Yeah."

"I was with my friend Oliver too."

"Oliver, as in Oliver St. Clair?"

"Yeah you know him? He's in my first period, and he's really nice."

"I knew his parents, and I'm sure he is." that was the last thing he said before he turned again and left my room.

I sat up and picked up my hot tea slowly taking a sip. It burned all the way down my throat like someone had set it on fire. I sat down the mug to cool some and picked up my phone from the night stand.

I didn't have any new messages, and that was nothing new. I sat back and leaned against my headboard. It was only 12:35 and, I knew already it was going to be a long day.

My feet thudded against the cement as I passed another strip of family owned shops. It was mid afternoon and I needed to clear my head from all of the clutter filling it, so I went for a jog. My stress levels seem to grow every day I stayed here, and the only thing that kept them down was jogging and maybe a cup of tea here and there.

I swear I was addicted to that stuff but hey, I could be sucking down sugary drinks here and there, but I'm not. I see no problem in my excessive tea drinking habits. With my stress levels reaching my boiling points, the drinking habits had reached a new record sky high, and I was looking slim from running everyday, not that I was fat or anything.
