The Making of Arthur Godhand

Childhood and Teen Years

Arthur Godhand Was born from his Father Daren Godhand and his mother Kahreem Godhand in a smaller village out side of the capitol of Gaelax named Voildan. Arthur's grandfather Glen Godhand would often come around after his duty's and when he did Arthur had always asked his grandfather about his adventures or how his noble knightly duty's where important. Since hearing the storys of his grandfather Arthur had dreams of becoming an important Noble Knight like his grandfather.

Arthur's Grandfather would teaching his Grandson Arthur simple sword swings when he was about 8 years of age with practice wooden swords Arthur would practice these swings but get impatient and would want to learn more as he was a child and did not understand the meaning of learning fundamentals. Some days he went to the local park with the other children or helped on his familys farm or helped his mother sell goods at her stall in the town But most days he practiced his sword swings with promise that he will learn more and some day soon with a real sword his parents would watch from the window as he swung.

By the time Arthur grew to the age of 13 his grandfather surprised him with a short sword and had asked him to spare to show him what he has learned in these few years. Excited Arthur had rushed his grandfather but Glen just deflected the short sword and told arthur that he had left him self open to counter attack and as they spared his grandfather taught him important lessons about proper swinging and having fallow thru with his swings among other battle tactics. After every few weeks when Glen would come over  Arthur got better little by little. 

When Arthur grew to the age of 15 he has split his time fully between training and helping his parents with there jobs even if they are nobles they wanted to teach there son about the importants of hard work and being humble. As Arthur is coming back in from practice with his grandfather glen he washes hands as he does the plates starts to shake then a burst of wind opens the door and the windows and as he looks up Arthur spots a dragon flying over head to the Capitol Gaelax Breathing fire Arthur turns around to see his father and mother rushing inside picking up a board in the floor as arthurs dad picks him up and puts him under the floor boards in a room under the house that arthur hadnt known about before. As he his put down there the board get placed back down and  the screams start to fill the entire town as an swarm of orcs and goblins and other creatures start to flood out of the forrest Aruther spots his grandfather slaying many creatures around the house whist of the other side of the house his father is protecting his mother from the swarm. It is clear the swarm is becoming over whelming on both ends and his father and mother falls The slaying of Arthurs parents distract Glen arthurs grandfather  allowing the creatures to stab him and over take him. then the remaining of the monsters walk past Arthurs house. Arthur punching up to get out of the floor boards rushing out to his dead family members and start to mourn them when he hears a voice calling out to him. The voice beckoning to come back to the floor boards. Arthur fallows this voice to find something glowing under ground. As he moves some things out of the way the sword talks to Arthur "The Conditions of The Contract has been met. Would you Arthur Godhand last of your kin Take up my blade to Avenge what you have lost. Would you like overwhelming Enormous power so much so that the monsters that slay your kin fear you? If all this and more is what you desire then pick up my blade and become what you where destined to!" Arthur picks up the blade and the sheath that contains the blade and walks outside. As he walks to the town center he notices the dragon being slain in the distance by an adventuring party and turns his attention to the rest of the monsters ravaging the town. As the he faces a orc they turn to face him and demand that they give them his gold. Arthur refuses then the  orc rushes twords Arthur and in a single moment he recognizes the movement and counters takeing out the blade and cuting the orc in half. As he holds his new blade the blade being unleashed brands Arthur  A symbol appears across his chest  when the symbol fully sets in his skin starts turning red outward from the symbol he grows horns from the top of his head a tail forms his finger nails grow sharper and as he slays the last of the monsters he tells the townfolk that they are safe but as he looks them all in the eyes they are scared. They fear him. They call him Devil touched others call him a devil himself claiming that he is the reason that the monsters came. They no longer recognize Arthur anymore. Arthur looks down at him self from a pool of blood on the ground and sees his own reflection then runs back to his home on the outskirts of town no one fallows him. he sheaths the blade and his form is returned to him. all except the symbol on his chest.
