Jisung walked through the halls of his new high school, keeping close to Hyunjin. Jisung was nervous and Hyunjin could feel the nerves radiating off him, so he grabbed his hand and ruffled his hair.

"You'll be fine, don't worry," Hyunjin said quietly, "just stay with me and no one will dare hurt you."

Jisung nodded and licked his dry lips. "Thanks, Jinnie..."

Hyunjin knew that Jisung had social anxiety sometimes and he was determined to make Jisung feel welcomed and happy.

They reached the office and headed inside, the secretary looking up at them.

"Name?" She asked them.

"Uh, Han Jisung..." Jisung said quietly.

"Go meet with the principal, he'll give you your schedule and talk to you." The secretary said, pointing to a door.

Hyunjin lead Jisung to the door and knocked three times before opening the door and walking into the office.

"Hey, sir!" Hyunjin said happily.

The principal sighed. "Hello, Hwang. Who's this?"

"Han Jisung, sir, he's my cousin." Hyunjin said, sitting on the desk and motioning for Jisung to sit on one of the chairs opposite the principal.

Jisung sat on the chair Hyunjin motioned to, silently.

"Ah, yes." The principal said. "Your mother informed me of your... Struggles and I just wanted to let you know that your teachers have been informed as well, so if you ever need a breather, just tell you teacher and take a walk. Here's your schedule."

Jisung took him schedule and looked up as Hyunjin took his hand and dragged him out the door. "Th-thank you, sir." Jisung said, before the door closed and Jisung and Hyunjin were walking away from the office.

"What do you have first?" Hyunjin asked.

"Um... Science." Jisung said.

"Perfect. I've got the same, let's go."

They were walking to the science building, when a bunch of girls surrounded them.

"Jinnie, oppa!"

"Oppa!"

"Hyunjinnie!"

"Hyunnie!"

"Babe!"

Hyunjin looked at them, smirking, but then saw the look on Jisung's face and pushed them out of their way.

"Oppa, who's this ugly guy?" A girl asked.

Hyunjin's jaw clenched as he turned to her. "He's my cousin, so get out of our way, or you'll be going to the hospital."

Hyunjin pushed her to the ground and lead Jisung away.

"J-Jinnie?" Jisung said quietly.

Hyunjin glanced at Jisung, then stopped and hugged him. "Sorry... I even made sure we came early, so we could avoid them. There are only a few guys that make stupid girls go crazy over them and, unfortunately, I'm one of them. I'm sorry. If any of them hurt you in any way, tell me immediately, ok?"

Jisung nodded and hugged Hyunjin, breathing slowly and heavily.

"Now, let's go to class, yeah?" Hyunjin said, breaking the hug. "I'll introduce you to my friends; Chan and you already know Felix. Also, remember, if I ever say anything that's offensive to anyone, just know I would never say it to you and I don't want to offend you, ok?"

Jisung nods, having already had this conversation with him.

Hyunjin takes Jisung's hand and leads him down a crowded hall. Jisung clings onto Hyunjin as they walk, but then someone suddenly crashed into Jisung, knocking him down.

"Ow..." Jisung says, rubbing his head and looking down to see a cute fluffy haired boy on top of him.

"S-sorry!" The boy said, rushing to standup and get off Jisung.

"It's ok-" Jisung started, slowly getting to his feet.

"Oi, faggot," Hyunjin spat, "didn't I tell you to leave my sight and never come back?"

The cute boy looked down as a person, presumably one of his friends, came and stood up for him.

"And didn't I say to leave Jeongin and everyone alone?" The boy said, glaring at Hyunjin.

"Oh, no," Hyunjin said, dramatically gasping. "There're more fags!"

"Seungmin, let's just go," Jeongin said, tugging on who must've been Seungmin's arm.

"Yeah, get lost," Hyunjin spat.

Jisung didn't know what to do, on one hand, Hyunjin was acting like his father, on the other, his cousin told him not to interfere with his bullying.

"But Jeongin-"

"Come on," Jeongin said, pulling Seungmin down the hall and out of sight.

Hyunjin glared at them, then looked over at Jisung, who looked like he might throw up and start crying.

"Jisungie..." Hyunjin said quietly.

Jisung shook his head as the bell rang and the hallways emptied.

"Jisungie, I told you that anything I say isn't meant to offend you..." Hyunjin said, taking a step towards him.

"Y-you sounded like him..." Jisung said quietly.

"I'm sorry, OK?" Hyunjin said, taking another step closer to Jisung.

"B-but..."

Hyunjin hugged him and kissed his forehead. "I'm sorry, OK?"

Jisung nodded and sniffed, neither of them knowing they had an audience.

Lee Minho and Seo Changbin stared at them from across the hall, eyes wide. They had never seen Hyunjin be affectionate with someone, and they had never seen the cute quokka-like boy before.

"Let's get you to class, OK? After school, we can go get some snacks and watch one of those BL dramas you love so much, yeah?" Hyunjin said, kissing Jisung's forehead again and looking down at him.

Jisung nodded and they walked down the hall, to class.
