Chapter 41 The fifth day of extreme cold
Jiang Yan was in a daze for a long time, and the mutant cat became impatient.
It raised its voice, raised its huge cat head, and called out "meow".
Come fish! Come fish! Fish come from all directions--
Jiang Yan heard the mutant cat's urging.
She took two portions of pickled fish from her backpack and wanted to throw them to the orange cat through the courtyard wall, but the heightened courtyard wall was already four meters long.
She couldn't throw it.
Jiang Yan was silent for a moment.
She weighed for a moment between opening the door to the courtyard to deliver food to the orange cat, or going up to the third floor of the old house and then throwing it away. She chose to turn around and walk back to the old house.
Although this cat had known her before and had never shown any tendency to attack, it was still a giant mutant beast--
As long as it didn't control its strength well, it could kill her with one claw.
You still have to keep your distance.
Jiang Yan was holding two boxes of pickled fish and just opened the door of the old house. Before she went in, she saw a furry paw appearing in front of her.
The claw was huge and stretched in front of her, almost completely blocking her sight.
Jiang Yan's heart skipped a beat.
She didn't know what the mutated cat wanted to do, so she subconsciously held her breath and stood still, motionless.
Mutant cats pop out their nails.
Its nails are gray-white, almost half a meter long, and look hard and sharp, like a long knife.
The orange cat let out a "meow". It opened its round eyes and carefully hooked its nails on the edge of the pickled fish box.
Then it pulled up the cat's paw, trying to hook the pickled fish out of the yard.
But as soon as it took the pickled fish box out of Jiang Yan's hand, the box lost its center of gravity and fell from the tip of its claws, falling to the ground.
The plastic box fell open and the fish inside spilled all over the floor.
Jiang Yan heard a sharp and painful cat meow: "Meow--"
The orange cat's ears were folded into airplane ears, and its pupils were enlarged to completely black, staring at the fish on the ground.
Jiang Yan was silent for a moment.
She glanced at the orange cat twice and tried to take a step back.
The orange cat was indifferent.
It looked like it had received a huge blow. The whole cat slumped down and was completely unable to notice other situations.
Jiang Yan walked around the hanging cat's paw, walked quickly into the old house, and climbed to the third floor.
The old house is a standard self-built house with very high floors.
Jiang Yan opened the window and threw the remaining pickled fish out of the yard.
The plastic box hit the ground and made a little noise.
This sound woke up the orange cat. It finally recovered from the great grief and subconsciously lowered its head and looked at the place where the sound came from.
