The ringing in Hunter's ears wouldnt stop. Hunter could only see Mission taking on two of the wolves. The snow has stopped, although the ground is covered in it. Now that the ringing has stopped in Hunter's ear, he stands up only to find out that one of the wolves direction turns to him. The wolf pounces on Hunter and Hunter frantically holds it back as the wolf kept snapping at his face. Hunter musters enough strength to finally throw the animal off of him and run any direction possible. Hunter, out of the corner of his eye, sees the wolf thats attacking Mission, scratch Mission and "throw" him to the side. After this turn of events, Hunter stops in his tracks and changes the direction he is fleeing to. Hunter runs straight to mission and guards him against the two wolves. Then all of a sudden behind the wolves Hunter could see a girl with a ragged bowie knife, creeping amongst the wolves. Hunter takes his gaze off the girl and turns around to see the body of the third wolf on the ground covered in red snow. One of the two wolves snarls and snaps at Hunter which makes him take his gaze off the third wolf onto the girl who is now closer to coming upon the wolves. Then right when the wolves were about to strike, the girl dives for the wolves and Hunter closes his eyes waiting for his upcoming death.
