Karishma moved quickly to Haseena and sat beside her on the couch... Haseena carefully took Karishma's hand in hers and opened the bandage, saying, "nahi sudhrengi na aap? "Hum thak chuke hai aapko samjhate samjhate, aap har baar fir wahi harkat dauhrati hai." Karishma got lectured by Haseena... Karishma, on the other hand, bowed her head in shame. ...

Haseena removed Karishma's bandage and examined Karishma's hand, which was better than before but still required attention. "Aarti utaare hum aapki?" Haseena said to Karishma sarcastically, leaving Karishma feeling a bit hurt and grumpy. Karishma chose to remain silent upset, not saying anything...

Haseena and Karishma were sitting quietly in the balcony.. not knowing how to begin the conversation... Karishma was an introvert and she never knew, how to initiate it but Haseena herself is an ambivert was fall of words today...

"Don't you want to say anything else?" Asked Haseena, sipping the coffee gazing at the sky, The night sky was a cosmic quilt, stitched with silver threads of starlight, casting it on the world below...

Karishma flinched with the sudden question, looked down at the floor nervously.. " I.. I don't know how to initiate conversation... " Said karishma finally after taking a deep breath but still sluttering a little ... It was her first time that she was sitting with someone else other than Meera .. Karishma always remained in a shell not allowing anyone into her life, hurting others knowingly or unknowingly...

Haseena chuckled at Karishma and replied " relax Karishma.. you don't need to be that nervous, I am not gonna eat you"... Haseena looked at Karishma's sweaty palm that were resting on Karishma's own thighs... Her back straight...

As soon as the words hit Karishma's ear, her face flushed with embarrassment... her nose and cheeks turning red, she looked in another direction... "And if you did?" Asked Karishma abruptly, just wanting to answer not realising own word...

Haseena's breath got hitched in her throat as she choked on the coffee... She controlled herself before turning towards Karishma ..... "what did you just say?" Asked Haseena ...

Karishma looked at Haseena confusingly... Not even remembering her words asked...
"Did I say something wrong?" She noticed Haseena's expression for any sense of discomfort, anger or sadness but she couldn't find any... Her heart raced on the pace, feeling scared...

"You don't know what you said?" Asked Haseena being shocked .. she noticed Karishma's scared face but couldn't help herself finding the creature infront of her cute... She just wanted to pull her cheeks but controlled herself knowing Karishma's earlier denial...

Karishma pouting sadly embarassed nodded her head negatively... " I am sorry" mumbled Karishma getting up from the bean bag...

Haseena nodded her head in disbelief.. pulling Karishma back down by holding her coat sleeves, made her sit... " Why you overthink that much? Chill yaar, it's me only and I am not gonna judge you" said Haseena putting her hand around Karishma's shoulder...

" No.. it's not like this" said Karishma straighting her back, feeling a little uncomfortable with the touch... Haseena noticed Karishma's discomfort and removed her hand....

"Then how is it? Karishma... It's important to communicate.. it's important to say emotions aloud... Your liking, your disliking, your hurt, your love everything. " Said Haseena in a hope of last try....

" I.. I know it Haseena... But.." Karishma stopped in mid.... Not knowing it's good to say or not .. her mind getting clouded with if and but thoughts...

"But what Karishma?" Asked Haseena keeping her hand on Karishma's thigh rubbing it a little providing her comfort and warmth ..

" But I don't feel comfortable.... You know.. it's not me who is vulnerable, I am not the one who shares thing... " Said Karishma again stopping herself in mid.... Her mind again stopping her from trusting Haseena....

"I should go, Meera is waiting" said Karishma getting up again.... But this time Haseena didn't say anything and followed Karishma to the hall....

" Kaha reh gaye the tum dono?" Asked Meera coming to the duo....

" Kuch nahi Meera, bas kuch baat karni thi" said Haseena with a smile and pointed towards Karishma who was looking at then with raised eyebrows making both Haseena and Meera chuckle....

" I meant, where were you both, I was waiting here alone " said Meera to the Karishma, silently praying to God to save her from her best friend...

"Nothing, just had to discuss something" said Karishma sulkily and moved to Haseena... She joined her hands and said " Thankyou so much for your hospitality Haseena... I will really miss this, we should leave now"....

Haseena nodded her head feeling sad, despite knowing it was destined to happen.... She plastered a fake smile and joined her hands too...

" Namaste " said Karishma, and left the mansion with the Meera... Once again leaving Haseena alone... But maybe this time with an attachment....
