I close my eyes, I think of you
The memories I hold, they feel so true
But now your gone, my world's turned gray
I miss you more and more each passing day
I hear your voice and feel your touch
But it's just echoes now, I miss you so much
I try to smile, but there's a never ending sadness inside
Wishing you were here, right by my side

Every moment we had, it still feels so near
But life moved on, and it's hard to let go
Dad, I'll love you forever, this I want you to know
We shared laughter, we shared sorrow
You were my guiding light, my shining tomorrow
Through good times and tough, you stood so strong
Your love and wisdom, they'll forever live on
I see your face through photographs
Reminding me of all the love we had
Though your not here your spirit remains
