I'm fine

Fine?
Yeah, I'm fine
I'm fine if it's opposite day
I'm fine if it meant sad
Utterly and wholly bad
The type of sad you don't know if you can take
The type if bad where I'm just a mistake
A mistake that's going to break
Everything's fuzzy
Nothing is clear
It all seems to get worse from here
But yes
I'm fine
I'm fine
I'm fine
I'm Utterly and wholly fine
But only smiling on the outside
Drowning on the inside type of fine
The sun is shining but it can't dry me
The birds are chirping
But they are just laughing at me
Nothing can reach me
The fog is too thick
No one can see me
But the birds
No one can hear me
But the birds
I'm screaming
I want out
I want out
I want free
Free of this misery
Free of this unwanted sign
It's hanging over my neck for the birds to see
For the birds to pick on me
They won't save me
They just make fun of my misery
You say you can see me?
Oh, you don't see a thing
You see what I want you to see
You see the plague of me
The one on the shelf of trophies
So ask me how I am
And I will reply
Reply with I'm fine
Totally and Utterly fine
