Y/n's POV

"Maya! Please stop running. I have somewhere I need to be!"

My feet were aching from chasing my little sister around our house for about 9 minutes now. When I told her that I needed to be somewhere soon  she took off running. I guess this was her way of making me late.

"Please Maya, its very important that I be there tonight!" I pleaded.

That didn't stop her running though, she proceeded to stick her tongue out at me and keep running, life of an older sister I guess. The truth is, where I was going wasn't really important. It was a party, but not just a party. It was one of the biggest social events in Japan. Mina Ashido's party, aka my bestfriend. Her parties were legendary! Everybody would be there.

Even the winged hero (my personal favorite) Hawks !!

If only my mom had me a few years earlier, me and him would definitely be married with 5 babies, living in a big mansion, just saying.

After about 3 more minutes Maya finally stopped running and flopped on our living room couch out of breath. Our mom was not home yet. She had to stay late at her agency, life of the number 2 hero but, my friend Tokoyami offered to watched Maya for me. He wasn't really big on this whole partying thing.

I was wearing :

I decided to wear my natural curly hair.

I grabbed the remote to our tv, turned on the tv, and went to disney plus to play Princess and the Frog.

"Okay Maya, Tokoyami will be here soon. I made you chicken nuggets, they're on the stove and Princess and the frog is on so I think you'll be okay."

"Bye bye sissy!"

"See you later My."

I grabbed my phone and purse and hurried out of the house. I clicked on my phone screen to check the time. Then I got a text from Mina.

"Hiyaa Y/n the Parttyyt is gettin' realllyy fullll hehe can you please bring someeeee iceee we raannn out thxx :)!!!!."

I let out a little chuckle at the way she texted. Now I know there's alcohol at the party. Thanks Mina!

Before driving to the party I stopped at a small store. I started texting Mina back, she didn't tell me how much ice to get. I walked in the store looking down at my phone waiting for a response.

I walked straight to the fridges until I bumped into something... or someone. I looked up to see this boy, this really handsome boy. One of his eyes were blue and the other was grey. I couldn't help but stare at him. He was gorgeous.

After a second I realized how late I was going to be,

"Sorry.. um I have to go."

I brushed pasted him to get to the fridges. Half of me was worried about getting to this party on time but the other half wanted to turn around and say something to him other than 'sorry.'

As I was checking out I could feel someone staring at me. I turned around slowly to see that same boy I bumped into staring back. He had a cold look his face. For some reason now that I'm really looking at his face he looked kind of familiar.

I got back in my car with the ice and pulled off. Speeding through the roads of Japan to get this party.

God I hope the drinks are good, I need one right about now .

about 20 minutes later at the party

When I first arrived to the party there was a estimate of about 700 people there, which was a lot. There was no sign of anyone I knew. Until I heard people chanting "Drink! Drink! Drink!" I knew Mina was around somewhere.

I was right. She was standing on a counter chugging a bottle of something. She is crazy. After placing down the bottle she looked around the room until her eyes stopped on me.

"Y/N!! You're here!"

"Yeah! I finally made it!" I said hugging her. She smelled just like what she had been drinking.

Soon a group of guys walked in... they took Mina's attention off of me there was one with green hair and freckles, red hair and sharp teeth, blonde hair who had scary red eyes, and...

Wait

The boy from the store.

AND HE'S WALKING TOWARDS ME.!
