Life for Licorice has been going well.
Too well.
The grand gates of the kingdoms college await!
The first day of Licorice Cookie's college days has begun!
He walked towards the first building he expected to go to - the accomodations, luckily supplied on site.
He hadn't had the best time in school before this so he hoped this would be better.. more peaceful.
Stepping into the room, he noticed two beds, would he be sharing with someone? The side didn't look occupied yet so he wasn't too sure.
He set his bags down, a mattress and cheap bed frame at each side of the room, small, slightly damaged night stands sat next to the Beds, Licorice set his skull lamp down with an excited smile, making sure it was placed with enough space to but down his water bottle.
He looked at the time, casually starting to panic as he realised how much time he had to get to his first lecture - quickly unpacking the bed sheets he got and setting them down on the mattress, looking around with a slight panic.
Rushing from his currently unorganized, new dorm with a bag clutched to his chest, was Licorice!
Of course he was already late to something - he couldn't escape mistakes.
The grounds were already busy with Freshmen, making it hard for him to navigate, having to slide through crowd after crowd, looking back at them as he kept running, his face looking determined - which was unusual for him.
He ran into the hall of his first lecture, breathing a sigh of relief when he found a seat in the corner.
He looked around, the hall was already basically filled with Cookies, it was loud, multiple conversations going on around Licorice, he glanced around him, sighing, breathing heavily, his chest evidently rising and falling under his robes, getting out his notebook and setting it down on the desk in front of him, grabbing a mildly broken Biro pen to write with.
The lecture felt long, gruelling and unfamiliar, It was an intro to all the things that they would be learning over his time there - he didn't really listen, zoning out and trying to engage but finding it difficult, words not catching his attention enough for him to hang on for even a sentence, his mind off in some other place.
It was exciting in a way, living with someone he'd never met before, he walked down the hallway, fast but not running, a smile on his partly shadowed face as he held a text book firmly to his chest, feeling the hardback through his robes, his feet firmly hitting the wooden floor boards, almost loud enough to be stamping if it weren't for how fast he was going.
He reached his room, fumbling for his keys in his deep pockets and finally getting them out, hands jittering with excitement, he put the key into the keyhole and opened it, it made a small click, the door creaking open from the fact it was obviously old, looking around until he saw, his new roommate.
