when your a 10 year old girl in 1992 you learn some stuff. you learn to be respectful and you learn that since your getting older you will have responsibilities. but when you turn 11 and go into 6th grade it becomes about how to be prepared for life. you learn how to study correctly and how to take life changing tests. you learn how to talk to the opposite gender and you learn what real life is like. at least that's how eric described it. eric randall matthews, the king of john adams high. when your a 11 year old girl you have to listen and believe everything a 15 year old boy tells you, especially when he's as popular as eric. i also have to believe everything shawn tells me, where do i even begin. shawn patrick hunter. oh he's intresting right. he's the type of boy who will convince you to ditch school and walk to the mall in the middle of a blizzard and try to fully convince the cross guard that he's 18 and in college. of course when he screams run we do and we do ditch school to go to the mall. theres never a dull moment with him and i guess that's what makes him so much fun. he's definitely my best friend but so is cory. then there was cornelius a matthews. no one will tell me his middle name so it must be funny. i assume it's his dads name but i don't really care. cory has been best friends with shawn for "as long as i remeber" (the words cory said when i asked how long they have been friends). shawn only moved here a couple years ago but he's been here much longer than me. cory is the only thing keeping me sane and probably the only reason i'm alive. cory is dumb but not as dumb as shawn. cory is smart like "DONT CROSS THE STREET NOW YOU WILL GET KILLED" cause me and shawn forgot to look before starting to run across the street. cory has the biggest beef ever with our teacher mr feeny but that's probably cause they are neighbors, i don't really blame mr feeny though i would go crazy if i had to deal with being neighbors with cory. cory most defiantly has the best family out of me him and shawn, well also the biggest. it's me my mom and my dad, my mom is town mayor while my dad runs some insurance thing in the city, but neither of them are around much. shawn is the same way just his parents have less important jobs, but cory on the other hand is the package deal. you get cory and his mom and his dad and eric and morgan. morgan and eric are cool but not as cool as cory. cory was the boy who came up to me on the first day of school when he saw i was sitting alone. he introduced me to shawn and let me sit with him. ever since that day a year ago it's been the trio, cory matthews, shawn hunter and me carlotta gallo, yes carlotta but everyone calls me carli. i'm 8 days younger than cory and 9 months younger than shawn, he moved a lot when he was younger so now he's one of the oldest in the grade. tomorrow we start 6th grade, we have mr feeny but school will be cool, at least i hope. i will have shawn and cory so i should be fine.
