She opened her eyes, sweat dripping down her cheeks. The room was dark, cold, and had a scent she couldn't name. She tried to move but couldn't, rattling echoed around her like siren. Loud and piercing. She looked around trying to figure out where she was.
A chair a couple feet away from her and a small table beside it. Chains that pierced and prodded her wrists and neck. The seal she had grown to hate and the blood she learned to curse.

She awoke! Sweat dripping down her face. She was home. Pillows thrown across her bed, her blanket on the floor. She stuttered and caught her breath.
"It was another nightmare." She rubbed her wrists. "But it felt so real. I don't understand."
The door opened and walked in her twin brother, he was carrying a bowl and spoon.
"Good morning little sister! Everyone is already awake we have a lot pl- what's wrong?" His dark eyes harden upon meeting hers. Even though only minutes apart he loved to rub in that he was older than her.
"Nothing Jason just a nightmare." She looked out the window eyes wandering back to their childhood. The friends they left. Was it all a lie? Or some sick joke!
"You have been having these nightmares since we got here sis! I understand that we were all taken by surprise with the news but if it's bothering you, you should tell mom! She will take us back home!" He sat beside her and handed the bowl over. " Im just saying that Joey, Jake, Jack and I have no problem with you wanting to leave. Considering Father is the only reason we are here in the first place. It seemed he only wanted you."
She looked at the bowl and considered his words. Her brothers were always there for her. Her personal best friends. This man they call father showed up a month ago ready to be in their lives again with the condition they moved in with his other kids.
"The man has a total of 16 kids! Thats a lot! And what makes us so special among that number! The fact that we are his youngest 5?! Jason the only reason I agreed was for you guys! It doesn't matter to me if I knew the man that made me!"
"Jasmine the reason why he wanted you is because you are his heir. Your telling me that you don't want this life of luxury? Thats insane but I understand it was a big move! And he claimed to really love mom." He was right. This man was a king! But he wasn't human, more like a god. No a guardian!
"Look how about we eat breakfast and then go explore this new world! Being cooped up in here all day must be draining. And if anyone asks I'll cover you." He smiled and his eyes crinkled and sparked with curiosity and joy. She couldn't help but smile in return.
"Hey is she up yet?" A deep voice called from down the hallway.
"Yeah shes up Joey! Just a little shaken up is all but one quick adventure should cheer her up real quick." Jason beamed. She never would have guessed that his power be so destructive.
