Frightened, Gwen stumbled back and caught on the root of a tree, fell on my ass. I started walking closer to my cousin
"Don't worry, I won't hurt you." I said, towards Gwen.
Hearing me speak, she stopped her attempts to move. Something in this voice seemed familiar to her I guess. Being filled with excitement, she then asked the golden question: "Who are you?"
"Who else can be this hot, but me, Gwen! It's me. Ben!" I said, with the biggest, flaming smirk on my face. She looked at me, and I could see her eyes wide. After all, it really seemed to me that there was something so familiar in this magma creature. She almost immediately believed me because even despite my appearance, these eyes definitely belonged to her cousin.
"What happened to you?" She asked with a shocked expression. "Why do you look like some kind of humanoid magma creature?"
"A satellite fell from the sky, almost nailed me, and I barely had time to jump back. When I came closer, it turned out that it was some kind of capsule that opened by itself, and inside there was an alien watch." I explained, lied a little. "It jumped onto my hand when I just walked up to it. The watch seemed to be glued to my hand, and I could not take it off, no matter how I tried. Then I decided to check what it is."
"I pressed the button, twisted it a couple of times, and pressed it again, after which there was a flash of light, and I was already this creature. Immediately after that, a robot fell from the sky. Seeing me, he began to attack me, but I could quickly destroy him. When I started thinking about what to do next, I heard your cry. And here we are." I finish, waiting for Gwen's response.
However, I was shocked by my story. She got up and tried to think over my words when I heard the noise of footsteps from behind, and Grandpa Max ran into the clearing.
Running up to them, he pointed a weapon at me, which was surprising seeing as he usually tried to hide his plumber days. "Get away from my Granddaughter Pryonite!"
But Gwen stood before me, shielding me with her back.
"Grandpa!" Gwen shouted at Max. "Don't shoot; it's Ben!"
Hearing Gwen, he stared at Pryonite in shock. At this moment, I wanted to try something, made a burning sound, raised my hand and slapped the emblem on my chest.
After a flash of light, I was standing in the clearing. Max, moving away from the shock seriously, asked: "Is that the Omnitrix?"
When he asked, I just smiled, and nodded. "Yes, this thing is called the omnitrix!"
" What is the Omnitrix? And what is a Pyronite? And what is that thing you're holding grandpa?" Gwen asked.
"Now is not the time for questions. It looks like this robot was just a scout, and he was looking for my new watch. And since I destroyed it, the owner of the robot will most likely send another and will do it in a place of congestion, deciding that there might be the one who found the Omnitrix. We need to hurry." I said with a smirk on my face.
Having considered my words, Grandpa found them logical, which means we need to hurry. So, he nodded, and we ran towards our mobile home.
Having reached the Rustbucket, we drove towards the parking lot, where most mobile homes stood. At that moment, Gwen asked me with a worried face:
"How do we destroy the other robot? Will you turn into that Fire guy again?" she must have been worried about my safety.
"No, I'll become someone else, but first, I need to wait for the watch to recharge. I will quickly destroy the robot while you and Grandpa help people!" I answered
