Friends to Enemies

Chapter - 1

~First Day in 4th grade ~Abigail was sad since school was starting in a couple of days. Because she didn't have many friends, she was not very excited. Few days later it was the first day of school. Her mom asked, "Are you ready? Let's leave." Just as Abigail and her mom were about to leave, she put on a sad face." What's wrong Abby? Aren't you excited for the first day?" Abigail answered, "Um, it's nothing, my stomach is hurting, nothing to worry about." As they drove to school, Abigail wondered how to tell her mom that she always got bullied by a bunch of seniors but then decided not to. She thought that maybe this year would be different. As she got out of the car, her mom said, " Have a good day! If there is anything, call me." As soon as she entered the school, someone yelled out, "Looks like the loser arrived." Abigail ran to the washroom and burst into tears. A popular girl from her grade, Emma, heard her crying and asked, "Are you okay? Do you need any help?" Abigail was astonished that someone asked if she was okay. She yelled out, "I'm fine." When Abigail came out of the stall, the girl asked her if she wanted to sit with her and her bestfriend, Olivia. Abigail thought, 'Omg, is the most popular girl in school asking me to sit with her?!'

 Abigail eagerly said, "Yes! Um, I mean ya sure."  After a few weeks, the three of them became besties and did everything together. These days, Abigail was quite happy, and the bullying had stopped.
