Qiao Jiang went up the mountain in the afternoon, and Gao Jinlan went hiking in the morning. He also had some bamboo tube rice at noon. In the afternoon, he said he would peel orange peels with Miao’s mother and several sisters.

Qiao Jiang parked the car in the parking lot without wearing sunglasses. She took a peaked cap and put it on her head. Today she was wearing a short T-shirt, a white sun protection jacket, a pair of sports shorts, and a pair of black and white sports socks.

There were relatively few guests in this weather, and there were only a few cars parked in the parking lot.

She met several children on the way up the mountain, each of them carrying a basket of strawberries. Seeing her coming, they asked her if she wanted a basket of twenty-five freshly picked strawberries.

Qiao Jiang took a look and saw that the strawberries were quite big, red and bright, and looked clean. She picked one up and put it in her mouth and took a bite. It was sweet and sour, much better than what she had eaten in the city.

“Come with me.” She went down the mountain again, bought all the strawberries from the children’s hands, opened the trunk and asked the children to put them in. She took out three hundred-yuan bills from her wallet and handed them over.

There are six baskets in total, with a total price of one hundred and fifty.

The little girl in the lead was older, about eight or nine years old. She handed one back to Qiao Jiang: “Sister, the total is one hundred and fifty, and we don’t have any change.”

Qiao Jiang locked the car and walked up the mountain: “Then pick another one for me.”

When the children heard this, they immediately became more motivated, and all of them smiled like flowers: “Okay! Sister, wait here, we will go right away!”

Six The children ran swarm up the mountain like crazy. Qiao Jiang looked at these cheerful figures with a smile on her lips for no reason.

Gao Jinlan worked quickly and diligently. When Qiao Jiang arrived, she almost went to the ground to help others pull weeds. When she saw Qiao Jiang coming, she washed her hands and smiled at her: “Do you want to eat oranges? Your Aunt Miao’s house I ate the canned oranges I just made and it was pretty good.” When

Qiao Jiang heard the word “orange”, she would subconsciously think of the man’s darkened face.

She raised her eyebrows slightly: “I won’t eat.”

“Then sit down for a while.” Gao Jinlan went to say goodbye to Miao’s mother.

Qiao Jiang sat under the umbrella and heard several middle-aged women chatting, talking about the eldest daughter of the Yan family, Yan Zhao.

“…I don’t know how many times I have come here specifically to see him. She goes wherever Yan Zhao goes. Is she still in the Liyuan now? Ouch, girls are too open-minded now. How could we dare to do this before… …”

The bench was full of enthusiasm.

Qiao Jiang felt that her shorts were sticky with sweat and felt uncomfortable. She stood up, said something to Gao Jinlan, and walked towards the Liyuan. Before she reached the entrance of the Liyuan, she saw Yan Zhao walking out with a woman.

His face was expressionless, and the woman next to him smiled brightly.

Qiao Jiang took out a cigarette and put it in her mouth. As soon as she took out the lighter, the man’s eyes were locked on her face like a radar. His dark eyes were immediately fixed on her – the lighter in his hand.

She lifted her chin at him defiantly.

Yan Zhao had already walked over in a few strides, grabbed her lighter, and took the cigarette out of her mouth.

“Smoking is not allowed here.” The woman behind him ran over, thinking that Qiao Jiang was a guest who came to pick, so she explained to her in a friendly manner, “Don’t mind, he just loves the trees he plants, so…”

Before she could finish her words, she opened her mouth wide when she saw Qiao Jiang’s movements.

Qiao Jiang reached out and touched Yan Zhao’s neck. He put three band-aids on each side of the neck. She pulled one of them off with a gentle tug.

Yan Zhao didn’t move, just looked at her with a frown.

Qiao Jiang tore off all three band-aids, revealing clear scabbed tooth marks, and wiped the sweat on his chest bit by bit on the clothes on his chest.

“Did you see it?” she said to the woman, “I bit it.”
