While waiting for Remi and his 'new friend', me and Layan went off to a restaraunt where we all would eat. The place was big, and fancy, but not all much to look at.
Its almost 3:20 when Remi and the new boy came in the doors of the fancy restaraunt. When they sat down i looked away, we dont need new people, we never will.
"Sorry im late! we got caught up with petting his cats!" Remi said as he took a drink off some water on the table.
"you mean you got caught up in the cat?" Layan said with a smirk.
"oh shush! he was so cute!" Remi replied after almost chugging all of his water.
As i watched their convosation Layan looked over to me, "why you so quiet?" she asked.
"i didnt sleep that much last night." i replied.
It was true. The more i think about it the more it makes me want to sue my neighboors. Sushime, my neighboor, and his wife had a baby not too long ago, every night the thing would wake up and scream as loud as its tiny lungs could. It drives me crazy!
"yeah i bet, Mr. Smith got you up with his baby?" she asked again.
"yeah, its fine though." She nodded and went back to talking to Remi. The new kid, Lexin, was looking over the pasteries menu. I also decided to take a look, since i do have a sweet tooth. I picked a small cake, strawberry, and it was covered in a chocolate drizzle, sweet right?
After we finished our snacks we walked down to Remi's house, i've been here before, but it looks a little new to me since i havent been here in almost 2 years. As we walk inside i take off my shoes and sit down on his couch, its soft, memory foam. Layan came in after talking to Lexin, then she sat down in front of me, Remi beside me, Lexin in a seperate chair. He looked lonely, but soon changed when Layan started talking to him.
"OK NOW!" Remi yelled to get Layan and Lexin's attention.
"Oh, sorry! now, Atlas?" Layan asked me, i looked at her and she smiled.
"This is Lexin! you two can problably get along well!" she smirked.
"why do you say that?" i asked, feeling sleepy.
"You both are quiet and emo when yall are tired." she laughed, Layans laughes where usually loud, so everyone covered their ears, besides Remi who laughed also.
"You idiot, im not emo!" i yell to her, she really is starting to get on my nerves.
"oh shut up!" she giggled.
"your so mean!" i said back, there was a short pause before we all started laughing again.
We soon stoped laughing, i talked to Lexin but i still don like him, Im sure he can tell, but Remi and Layan are oblivious.
