I was terrified at this point I had powers that could destroy all of humanity. With our knowing I started shaking as tears rolled down my face. Enzo and Abel hugged me and whispered approving things to me as a small gust of wind blew. Once I stopped crying and calmed down a little I told them I'm going to bed.

"I think I'm gonna go to bed, night guys."

They look apologetically at me and bid me good night. I walked over to our makeshift tent and laid down. My brain going a thousand miles an hour. I never knew about my past then all of a sudden this happened. It was too much for me to take and I silently cried myself to sleep.

In the early hours in the morning before the sun rose I could hear Abel and Enzo whispering.

"I'm worried about her, Abel. Did you see her last night? She was crying, it's too much for her. "I know Enzo but it was time to tell her."

"TIME TO TELL HER! Did you see her face! She was already on the verge of tears when she realized. She's not ready to carry this."

Then all of a sudden there was a big gust of wind making the trees sway. Enzo ran to the tent and wrapped me in a hug. He knew I was up and heard them. As he wrapped me in his strong arms, putting my head on his chest as I cried into his chest.

Me and Enzo always had a strong bond, Abel never really understood me. As I sat there crying into Enzo's chest Abel came in slowly and hesitantly. "Err Mare." Enzo shot him an 'I told you' look as I lifted my head slowly from the comfort of Enzo's chest. My eyes are puffy and red, my nose pink. "What Abel?" I was already upset and Abel was probably going to make it worse. "I was thinking that maybe you could go on a small adventure, with us of course. Maybe the nearby village, get into some trouble."

We all walked over to the village and along the way we talked about what happened last night. My mind was still racing with all the possible outcomes of how my story could end. The many ways that I could cause harm to the people I loved by accident. I thought about last night, when I sat there crying listening to them. It was only when they heard the trees sway from the sudden wind that they came to comfort me, was it because they were scared of what I'm capable of? Are they scared of me? No, they can't be they love me. I brushed those thoughts aside trying to settle myself. Then Enzo spoke up

"M. are you ok? You know we're here for you right?" I looked at him for a second longer than I would have liked to at the moment, I felt the tears start to sting my eyes but I blinked them back and let out a soft.

"Yeah, I'm fine, thanks." He knew I was lying, but he just sighed quietly and shook his head slightly in concern. I'm glad he left me alone, I don't think I would be able to handle anymore words of comfort from him. We walked in comfortable silence the rest of the way there.

I raised my head to see that we had arrived at the Village, there were many people around. They looked at peace with themselves. As we walked further into the village snaking between buildings and houses. On the way I saw someone that caught my eye. I looked away quickly in fear that he would catch me staring. I looked away and continued to snake between buildings when someone tapped me on the shoulder. I spun around as quickly as possible causing me and the person that taped my shoulder to fall.

As I fell I shut my eyes and prepared for the impact but it never came. I opened my eyes confused and I saw someone under me with dark black hair and a pale complexion, for a moment I thought it was Enzo. He smirked at me.

"See something you like, love?" I blushed a little.

"Hey there. I'm Maximillian, Maximillian Mortimer. But everyone calls me Max. What's your name?" I blushed harder and I was sure that I was a shade of crimson. I couldn't say anything. He smirked at that and sat up moving me up too. My eyes widened and I immediately got up and started apologizing as he just chuckled.

"Hurry up love bird!" Yelled Enzo.

I blushed again and mumbled "Sorry about that, I'm Mare by the way."

I looked down and went to catch up to Abel and Enzo. But then I heard running from behind me. I turned around once again this time a little slower.

"I was wondering if I could join you and your friends." I looked back at Abel and Enzo, they both shook their heads no.

"Sorry bud, but we have something to do." Enzo said.

"Nice to meet you. Where are you heading?" "Oh nowhere that you need to know about." Enzo replied. Abel had started to walk away, Enzo and me following.

       "Enzo where are we going?"

"Out for a little errand." He said winking and looked down at his belt. I took the hint and looked down, on his belt loop was his sword and mine hidden under his long brown overcoat. I nodded as he slipped me my sword. Uninformed about the boy following us.

Me and Enzo had slipped away into a small ally, getting into position

      "It's been a while hasn't it?"

"If yesterday is a while then yes." I responded to him trying not to lose concentration. I thought I'd seen a tall figure out of the corner of my eye but I wasn't sure. I quickly shifted my attention back to Enzo, who had given me a quick smirk before lunging forward.

I quickly dodged as our swords clashed making a loud bang echo into the surrounding alleyway.

"My you're out of practice Enzo" I mimicked, not bothering to reply he shifted his footing and swung his sword once again this time giving me a deep cut on my forearm arm, I was used to it but I could feel a piercing pain running through my arm. I heard a gasp and realized it was Max and that I had seen him earlier. I turned and gave him a small feeble smile then jumped back as Enzo tried to swipe my feet from underneath me, giving him a smirk I stayed back allowing him to make the next move. He then launched himself at me, tackling me to the ground. Our swords clattered to the ground. I struggled underneath him, as I tried to shift our weight to turn us over.

He spoke up saying,"So I'm out of practice huh?" I tried to reach for my sword, but he had my arms pinned to the ground being careful not to touch my cut.

"I think this means I will win Mare." He bragged. I sighed in defeat.

"Yeah you win..." He cautiously got off and pulled me up off the  ground.

"How bad is it?" He consulted.

"Not to bad but we should wash it."
