New home (chapter 1)

*Jenna's pov*
"I can't believe I already moved to California" I mumbled to myself

It only took me 3 days to get everything down here and unpacked!

Thud
"Well Jenny that's the last box" my Dad said while coming down the staircase

"Thanks Dad. I really appreciate all the help" I said as I walked up to him to give him a hug

"Yeah no problem. You're my little girl after all"

"I should probably get to the airport, my plane will be taking off soon"

"Yeah. I'll call you a cab, Dad"

I still can't Believe that I got down here in under a week. The best thing about this apartment is that it's 2 floors. But it's going to be so lonely here by myself

"Jenny?" My Dad said snapping me out of my thoughts

"Oh sorry. I was just thinking"

The cab pulled up slowly to the curb waiting for my Dad to get in

I gave him a big hug while I didn't want to let go. I didn't want to see him go.

"I'll be back real soon with your mother ok?"

"Ok.... I love you"

"I love you too"

My Dad sent me a final wave before he got into the cab

I went back into my apartment to find a small box of cupcakes with a note

'Welcome new neighbor! Sorry I'm not the best cook so I bought some cupcakes'

I placed the box on my counter top. I looked over to one of the boxes that was full of pictures and books. I started putting them on my shelf that was next to my tv

"I might as well put a YouTube video on now while I do this"

Scrolling through all my other subscriptions but one popped out to me

"Oh mark uploaded a new video"

17 minutes later

"Well umm after that I think I'm going to go get some coffee"

That was so scary. So many jump scares

I pulled into the nearest Starbucks and went inside

"One venti strawberry creme frappuccino please"

I paid and waited for my drink at the counter.

" strawberry creme frappuccino?"

"That's me"

I grabbed my drink and turned around and was splashed by my drink along with another mans drink.

"Oh....oh my god
are you ok"

A hand reached out to me

"Yeah I'm fine..."

I looked up to see the man I've always wanted to meet..
