"Riki?!"

Sunoo broke the silence. Ni-ki just hummed, indicating him to continue.

"I asked this before, but you ignored me, but again, why do you hate me?!"

Sunoo asked w/o looking at Ni-ki while playing w his fingers, which was on his lap.

Silence again enveloped them, but Ni-ki spoke, answering Sunoo's answer.

"I don't hate you. You remembered our first meeting, right?!"

Sunoo nodded.

"Jungwon became so comfortable w you in no time, which I guess scared me."

Sunoo looked at Ni-ki w a confused face. Ni-ki let out a big sigh before speaking.

"It scared me because I thought y'll hurt him. So, I was rude w you, trying my best to keep you away from him, but now it looks like."

Ni-ki stopped his words and looked towards Sunoo, who was already looking at him.

"It looks like I can only request you to never hurt him. He has suffered a lot, Sunoo. I can't tell you about it cause it is his privacy, but please just don't hurt him. He is the most precious person in my life, and I don't wanna see him in miserable condition again."

Sunoo can see the sincerity and concern in Ni-ki's voice and eyes. He softly smiled and held Ni-ki's hand.

"I promise you. I won't hurt him and will always look after him."

Ni-ki nodded and smiled back at Sunoo.

"So, are we friends now?!"

Sunoo asked w wide eyes and wide smile. Ni-ki chuckled at the cuteness and nodded his head.

Sunoo let go of Ni-ki hand and clapped his hands, jumping cutely.

"Aish, finally. Y'know how much hard work it took?! Wow, you're finally my friend."

Sunoo exclaimed while Ni-ki just adored him.

"Let's take a pic, please."

"Okay, but just one."

Sunoo nodded and took out his phone to click a selfie w Ni-ki.

They took not only one but many cause Sunoo was whining to take more, to which Ni-ki fell and ended up taking many pics.

"Sunoo, Jungwon just texted me. He said everyone is gathering in a restaurant to eat. So, let's go."

Sunoo nodded while checking out the pics.

Sunoo held on Ni-ki's arm, and they started to head towards the said restaurant. Unlike earlier, now they were talking and laughing.

Soon, they reached their destination and saw their friends talking, more like teasing e/o.

"Hi, guys."

Sunoo greeted them as he left Ni-ki's arm and took a seat beside Geonu, which was by his guess, saved for him. Ni-ki also took a seat beside Jungwon.

"You two took a long time to come."

Jungwon said while eyeing both of them.

"We were a little far from here."

Ni-ki tried to reason out, but the truth was, they were walking so slowly cause they were busy in their own world.

Jungwon nodded, buying the reason.
