-------
He was standing in front of her, his hands on her shoulders. He was staring into her eyes, they were glowing with sadness. His breathing was heavy and unsteady, but he didn't let go of her arms.
"Sylvie,... I need you to listen", he said after a while, his eyes never leaving hers. He seemed frustrated, according to the fact that his hands held her tieghtly.
"Loki I...you need to move.", she said, but she wasn't so sure anymore. She was confused and worried. Some seconds ago, they shared a kiss. And then she pushed him back to the TVA. So how did he get back so fast?
"Sylvie PLEASE. I CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE! I NEED YOUR HELP I- I NEED YOU!", he shouted at her, his eyes closing, his body shaking. Sylvie felt even more worried as she stared at him.
"Loki I-"
"Please don't say it please don't say it please don't say it,...", he murmured to himself, his eyes still closed.
"Say what...? Loki what- what's going on?", she asked, her sword suddenly falling on the ground. She couldn't see him like this. Her hands wrapped around him as she gave him comfortable hug, but in her head everything seemed....weird. Even Loki seemed shocked by the hug, but not for long. In mere of seconds he was hugging her tieghtly, not letting go of her for many reasons. Sylvie just stared at him, not sure what to say. She looked behind Loki and saw He Who Remains, still sitting behind his desk. He was smiling, yet this smile was something new to Sylvie. It was sinister smile.
It took Sylvie moments to realize that whatever broke Loki, had to do something with that man. Her anger grew faster as she thought of that, but dissapeared as soon as Loki let out a sob.
"Loki,...what happend...?"
But Loki didn't answear. He continued hugging her tieghtly, his whole body shaking. No matter how Sylvie tried, she couldn't calm him down.
"Who did something to you,..", she whispered, her hands still holding him, but not tightly anymore.
"Don't...kill...him...I will find a s-solution just... Please", he let out, his head pressed against her chest. She wasn't sure how to express what she felt in her chest. She felt worried, angry, frustrated, sad, but she was also happy. Her mouth opened but closed soon,  as she was looking at Loki. Her eyes then trailed back to He Who Remains, who was now smiling even more. She looked back at Loki.
"What did he do to you", she whispered gently. Loki just shook his head. He knew that even if he tried, she wouldn't understand. No one would. Even he doesn't understand this at some point.
"Loki I can't help you if you won't tell me what's going on..", she whispered.
Loki knew. He heard those words before. He knew where this was going. He would never change the past. He looked up at her, his eyes shining with tears. That worried her even more.
"Don't...do this", he whispered. Sylvie sighed at him and looked away.
Her whole life she was chasing after TVA so she could take revenge. Now, when she finally had a chance, Loki was trying to stop her. Why? Why she couldn't have her revenge? After all those years that she lived in mysery.
"Give me one reason why not, Loki"
"Because if you do, you- you mess up everything! Sylvie I know it! I have been there! I saw EVERYTHING! PLEASE DON'T DO THIS!", his voice was shaking with fear as he stared at her, his eyes glowing desparately. He needed her to listen.
"What are you talking about"
"About future, Sylvie. I have been there. And it's not as pinky as you would like it to be", he said coldly, his hands slowly letting go of her. Before she could realize it, he grabbed her sword. She gave him a look before trying to get it back, but to her surprise he was dodging perfectly, almost like,..-
"You don't have enough, right, Loki?", He Who Remains said while staring at them. He clearly had so much fun while watching them. Loki didn't reply to his comment, instead he focused on Sylvie.
"If you kill him, you start war."
"I know, and for your information I don't give a fuck about that", Sylvie replied coldly, still trying to reach her sword. She looked at Loki angrily before kicking him. "Give me back my sword!"
"Only if I die!", Loki shouted angrily. It seemed like his nerves were on edge. He was still looking afraid and was shaking, yet this time, he was determinately standing in front of her, doing anything just to stop her. Something trully wasn't right, Sylvie thought.
"Loki please! You don't even know!-"
"Don't even know?! DON'T EVEN KNOW?! YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW! THIS MAN OVER HERE," Loki pointed on He Who Remains, his hand shaking,", THIS MAN OVER HERE PLANS EVERYTHING SYLVIE! YOUR "LOKI" YOU JUST PUSHED THROUGH THE PORTAL IS NOW EXPERIENCING TIME SLIPPING. IT HURTS. IT'S PAINFUL TO TIMESLIP THROUGH PAST, FUTURE AND CURRENT TIME! ALL THIS TIME, YOU DIDN'T GIVE TWO FUCKS. AFTER YOU KILL HIM, YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE PORTAL AND GET TO RANDOM WORLD YOU START CALLING "HOME". WHAT'S THAT FOR?! AFTER ALL THIS TIME I SPENT WITH YOU, YOU JUST PUSHED ME AWAY LIKE A FUCKING TOY! YOU LEFT ME TO SUFFER! AND AFTER ALL, EVERYTHING GOES TO SHIT. SO STOP EVEN TRYING "You don't even know" GAME.", he screamed, throwing the sword away. He was screaming so loud that even He Who Remains stayed still, shocked and focused on what happens next. Sylvie was staring, her whole body shaking. She listened to everything that Loki said, yet she was confused. There was no way all those stuff were true, or..?
Loki was again breathing heavily and he stepped closer to her. In worry she took few steps back, staring at him with scared face. She didn't know what was he capable at this state, and she wasn't planning to find out.
"So please trust me when I say, murdering him won't fix anything", he said coldly, staring right into her eyes. She gulped. All she wanted to do is pushing him away. She could just punch him and throw him across the room, but she didn't dare to. Instead, she stared at him. Something changed it him, she was sure about it, but she didn't know what or why. Lokis eyes seemed darker and way more tired. There was no hapiness that she saw in his eyes before. He looked completely tired and weak. She realized that he was waiting for her reply, but she didn't know what to tell him. She wanted to ask on so many things but she couldn't find any single question on her mouth. Her tongue seemed stuck in her throat.
After some minutes of silence, Loki sighed and closed his eyes. He didn't plan to force Sylvie and it didn't matter to him that he could just reset the time. He planned to get her on his side by her own will. "Do you trust me?", he asked finally.
Sylvie thought for a long time. Did she?
"Yeah,...yeah I do trust you", went out of her before she thought of it. She looked up at Loki to see that he was shocked by her answear. He propably didn't expect that.
Loki smiled softly and wrapped his hands around her, this time it wasn't painfuly tighed as before, this time it was lovely hug.
"We can change the future now! We can make the future better!-", he seemed happy, hugging Sylvie and turning her around happily, until he heard the noise.
Normaly, it was Sylvie who stabbed He Who Remains, but this time? This time it was exactly opposite.
"No....no no no no no no no no no!", Loki whispered as he stared at the sword in Sylvie's stomach. Even her eyes widened as she looked slowly down and then she sighed and murmured something. She fell on the floory defeated by the enemy that she was supposed to defeat.
He Who Remains stared at Loki. He though that he would attack him, but he didn't. Loki was staring at Sylvie's body on the floor, her last words repeating in his head like a recorder.

"Maybe you can't change the past, maybe it's supposed to happen"
