It's been days, maybe weeks? Loki didn't know exactly. The time was passing differently in the TVA, and he was very confused about it for a while. Howevery he felt like it was eternity when he last saw Sylvie. He was searching for her hardly enough and refused to stop. He ignored every single warnings that others like Mobius or B-15 told him.
Loki was somehow very confused about Sylvie, and he wanted to know the truth. Was that all planned? Did she really never trusted him? What did the kiss mean?
Sadly, Loki was unsuccesful. He knew that Sylvie propably walked away from the end of time, using He Who Remain's Tempad. But he found out that TVA does not scan He Who Remain's Tempad. It made sense to him, but he still wished it would.
Loki travelled atleast 40 of those universes, yet he couldn't find her. He was slowly starting to loose all his hope and mind, and after a very long time, he gave up. Broken and lost, he opened portal to one very random universe. He was hungry.
To his surprise, he appeared right in front of one restaurant. Mcdonald's, to be clear. It had bright red and yellow sign. It fascinated Loki, and for a while he was studying the place. He knew he appeared on Midgard, somewhere around year 1980 or maybe more. Curious Loki walked inside the restaurant, studying casual humans and their talks. Everything seemed....so normal.
Sometimes Loki wished everything was like before. He walked over the counter without even at the employers that stood in front of him.
After people started being boring to him, he looked up. He squinted at the board and wondered what to order. After a long decision he cleared his throat.
"I would like two triple ripple ice cream cones please,..", he said politely, and slowly looked up at the person he was talking to. And there, he stopped.
The woman with dirty blonde hair was standing there in silence, she didn't even seem to hear what Loki said.  She stared at Loki and studied him, the same exact way like Loki stared and studied her.
"Sylvie,...", it took Loki forever to whisper her name. He wasn't sure if it was her, but,...she looked like Sylvie. The woman blinked twice before she took one step back. To her luck, she bumped into one young employee that was just holding someone's order. The young boy looked at her in confusion.
"Sylvie- what was that for?", the boy said, staring at Sylvie with question. She only gulped and looked back, hoping that Loki wouldn't be there. But he was, and he was staring at her in shock and confusion. Now he was 100% sure that it was her.
"Jack will...will you take it over here please? I don't- don't feel well", she murmured to the blond haired guy and then quickly stepped away. Both Jack and Loki stared at Sylvie walking away. Then, Jack turned to face Loki.
"Welcome to McDonald's! What would you like, sir?", Jack asked with soft smile, yet he seemed to be worried and confused.
Loki couldn't find any words. Why did he let her leave? Where did she went? Will she come back? Was she afraid of him? And many more questions popped up inside his head. He stayed still while he tried to gather his thoughts. He needed to get to her, so what stopped him..?-
"Sir?", Jack asked carefuly, "are you okay...?"
Loki blinked few times before he looked at Jack with desparate look.
"Where did she went? Can you let me in, kid?", he asked quickly, like if his life was holding on that question.
"Uhm...I don't even know you sir, I can't do that-", Jack started, very confused by Loki's request. But before he could say more, Loki interputted him.
"Please!..Jack! This is- This is urgent. I need to talk to Sylvie", he said firmly, leaning against the counter. Jack stayed in silence, he was staring at Loki. Then, he studied Loki from up and down and finally asked.
"Are you Loki?", Jack said, small smile appearing on his face.
That caught him off guard. How did he know who he was? And most importantly, where did that smile appeared from...
"Yeah. Loki Laufeyson...how did you ..how did-"
"She likes to talk about you a lot. I think she missed you or something. She never explained me what happend thought, but...you took time, dude."
"What? What are you talking about?", Loki was even more confused than before, and it was clearly obvious from his face expression.
"It's been 8 months, Loki", Jack explained, staring at him with judge look, "I think she thought you come a little but earlie- ouch?!" Jack was pushed by Loki aside, as Loki quickly rushed inside the kitchen. He didn't care about those midgardians that gave him angry look and shouted something at him, he didn't even care that they tried to stop him. The only thing he cared for was her.

He found Sylvie outside, sitting on old green car. She was thinking deeply about something, staring into nowhere. She didn't noticed him, and Loki decided to....stare. He was confused why she tried to run away from him. He sighed and just stared, how calm she now looked. He was determinated and took one step closer to her.
"Sylvie,...", he whispered softly and walked in front of her. She was startled by him. She wanted to get up and walk away but Loki grabbed her hand gently and didn't let her go.
"Why are you running away from me...?", he said silently, staring at her with sad eyes. Sylvie looked up at him and gulped. She wanted him to let her go, but she didn't had strenght to push him away fully. Not after he....-
"Sylvie, why?"
She closed her eyes and bit her lip while Loki still didn't let her hand go.
"I just,...", she looked up at him. There was a weird silence while she stared into his eyes, and soon enough this silence became too much awkward. She then looked down and whispered.
"Sorry...I am so so sorry"
"What..?", Loki felt surprised when she apologized.
"I- I am sorry for pushing y-you away-", Sylvie stuttered, it was obvious she was holding herself hardly right now. Loki suddenly understood and wrapped his arms around her tieghtly. He actually felt this coming, he just wanted to be sure.
"Hey shhhh,...it's okay Sylv....it's alright, I understand", he said soothingly, his hands hugging her back softly. It didn't take long for Sylvie to wrap her hands around him. She was sobbing into his chest softly. It really looked like she was regretting the past. Loki just sighed and continued to hold her, hoping that she would calm down soon. Ocassionaly he kissed her hair softly, hoping that it would help.
And to his surprise, it actually did. In few minutes she was calmed down fully. They continued the hug softly, none of them wanting to let go. Sadly, Sylvie needed to go back to her work. She let go of Loki and gave him sad look.
"I..I am sorry, I need to go back to work", she said with apologetic voice.
"Oh...it's fine! Of course, can I....wait until you finish your job...?", he asked with hopeful tone. Sylvie only smiled and nodded, before walking away and leaving him here.
