It was April 13th, 2023, and the day started like any other for Jackson. He woke up, got ready for school, and went through the motions of a normal kid his age. However, he struggled with math, and the constant ridicule from his classmates was becoming unbearable. Every time he gave a wrong answer, the laughter pierced through his heart, reminding him of his perceived inadequacy. Jackson was in 10th grade, a pivotal time in his life where he longed for acceptance and belonging. The torment didn't end when the school bell rang. As he left the premises, a group of kids cornered him, ready to unleash their cruelty upon him. But Jackson, despite the pain and fear, refused to fight back. Deep down, he believed in a different way, a way that didn't involve violence. So, he endured the physical blows, hoping that one day understanding and compassion would prevail.Returning home, Jackson was met with a different kind of hostility. His parents, consumed by their own frustrations, unleashed their anger upon him for leaving a mess before heading off to school. Their words pierced his already fragile heart, as they belittled him and questioned his worth. "Jackson, why did you leave a mess before you left for school? This is why people don't love you! You're a messy kid who deserves to be killed! Go to your room!" Their harsh words echoed in his mind, filling him with grief and overwhelming sadness. He felt unloved, unwanted, and unsure of what to do next.
