Chapter 2: The Break

Joshua's P.O.V.

I heard Gwen's car pull into the drive way then quickly got up. I helped Colleen up then we got ourselves together. "Da... dad!" Olivia said then ran and hugged me. She then hugged Colleen. "How was your day?" Colleen asked as she propped Liv on her shoulder. "Great." Noah said.

Lily's P.O.V.

I could notice mom had been crying so I nicely signaled her to go to my bedroom. We sat down on my bed an talked for a good 15 minutes just making sure my mom, the women who makes sure I'm okay all the time, is okay. Turns out dad and her have been fighting. I can't believe this. I just took a shower then went to sleep. I tossed and turned all night. Then Noah walked into the room. "Hey sis, are you okay? I heard you cry after the shower." He said. "Yeah I'm fine." I said then rolled over "I cant tell you." I mumbled. "Okay sis, love you." He kisses my forehead then goes back to his room. He is 13 minutes older but I feel like he is 3 years older. He's like a brother, friend and dad all rolled up in one.

Joshua's P.O.V.

I woke up then rolled over and kissed colleen on the forehead. I woke up the kids then made breakfast. Everyone came out and Colleen and I talked to all the kids, telling them we'll be taking a break.
