Wolves were sleeping in a small cave. A gray almost black she-wolf named Zironka. She woke up and went to the exit of the cave.
-  Star, how are you? - Star turned to a familiar growl. It was Eagle's Claw (or just Claw)
- All right. I want to go to the Healer because I suffer from insomnia. - the young she-wolf licked the side of her paw. Star had white spots around her eyes. Star went to the Snow Healer. She glanced at the stone ledge on which the Gray Leader was sitting. in general, the leader's real name is Grey-tailed, but after the leader was in captivity among the people ... People nicknamed him Gray, and after he returned to the pack, this nickname stuck to him like a flea to wool. The little star passed through the fern that covered the entrance to the Healer's cave. Slowly (full name Snow Blizzard) was spinning around the sick. Star looked into the corner of the cube. There on the mossy nest lay an old she-wolf named Softpaw, in the pack she was called simply Paw. She was the mother of the leader, her authority in the pack was sky high. the paw was amputated by an illness and now she spent most of her time here.
- Hello Star - growled Snow White - Why did you come?
- Oh, Snow White and insomnia - growled Star.
- I'll bring you medicine in a moment - Snow White went to the tub with medicine. Her white fur hid behind a bush. she came out after a few moments, grass sticking out of her mouth. - Keep it up sleep grass will help.
Here the fern behind his back rustled.
Sharp Fang entered the cave. (or just Fang) He was Paw's partner and Gray's father. Everyone in the pack knew that he was not happy with Gray's rule. He was the ringleader before Gray. sharp Fang glorified a pack of wolves as evil and warlike, Fang was a party to hazing. And Gray tried to make everyone equal in the pack.
- How is she? - rasped Sharp Fang.
"She's in a serious condition," Snowly growled. - The disease progresses.
- How much does she have left? - something in the amber eyes of Hot Fang scared Star. There was some sparkle in his eyes, but Star could not understand which.
"No more than seven days," Snowly growled and shook her head sadly.
Star came out of the cave.
About three dawns later, Zironka's paw recovered. she was going to get a hunting permit from Gray.
She approached the cube.
- Come in. - the she-wolf heard a voice from the cave.
"How did he hear that I had come? I was walking almost silently," a thought flashed through Zironky's head.
The she-wolf entered. Bella (Grey's partner) and Gray himself, of course, were sitting in the leader's cave. Zironka did not have time to open her mouth when Snow White entered the cave.
"The leader is sad news," growled the Healer and bowed
"Tell me," Gray growled calmly.
- Soft Paw is getting worse. - Snizhka breathed out - Medicines are useless. it seems to me its time. arrived
This news squeezed Zironka's heart. The she-wolf remembered well how Paw took care of her after her mother's death. Zironka's mother, a she-wolf named Moonlight, (or as she was called in the pack Povnia) was killed by people when little Zironka was still a three-month-old wolf cub. it was Softpaw who taught the art of hunting. Gray came out of the leader's cube. His eyes were filled with grief. The leader reached the cave where the sick were being treated.
- Son, is it you? - asked the sick she-wolf
- Yes, mother. - Gray came to the Paw and sat down, began to lick it
"My time has come," Softpaw croaked. The mature she-wolf licked her son for the last time and died. Only now did Zironka realize that Sharp Fang was gone. Why didn't he come to say goodbye to Lapa. Where has he been all this time? The young she-wolf approached Softpaw's body. on her paw were two strange spots the size of a poppy seed. They were located opposite each other. These specks were red in color. The star moved away from the body. Gray left the cave and jumped onto the stone ledge. The leader began to howl, calling the meeting.
- Flock to me! - growled the young wolf loudly. all the wolves gathered. Claw sat down next to Zironka. When everyone sat down Gray growled.
"Softpaw is dead," he growled with sorrow in his voice. The pack fell silent. Each wolf in the pack was absorbed in his thoughts. They were all thinking about Paw.
The bush rustled. Fang entered the camp.
- Sharp Fang, where have you been? - asked Gray.. The leader looked at him reproachfully.
Sharp Fang endured the icy gaze without flinching.
- I had important things to do. Fang growled
- What could be more important than Soft Paw? - growled Gray sternly.
Fang remained silent. The wolf sat in a thicket of wolves.
- So, today at midnight we will hold a farewell ceremony on the lawn of important events. Red Tail and Dawn Cold you will carry the body.
North. Tail and Cold carried the body. Zironka pinched before leaving the camp. Pazur was walking next to her. Here the pack has already reached the clearing. everyone approached Lapa in turn. It was Zironka's turn. The young she-wolf came up to Paws and quietly whispered:
"Thank you for everything, Myaka Lapa," growled Star.
All the wolves began to howl loudly
                      Part 4
Rain. Zirontsi, there was no way I wanted to go on a detour, along with Gray and Paw. more than anything she wanted to sleep. After the ceremony, the she-wolf suffered from pain in her paws. But the mood was not very good either. Zironka's head was full of thoughts. A heavy burden of suspicion fell on her shoulders. She suspected Sharp Fang.
- Hey Zironko, get up. - The claw paw pushed her to the side.
"I'm going, I'm going," growled Zironka. Gray was already waiting for them at the exit. They got out and started the tour. Zironka's fur became unpleasantly heavy. Eagle's Claw snarled:
- Let's check what's in the bushes. - Paw raised his ears.
Patrolmen approached the thickets. Sniffing, Zironka felt the smell of strangers. a black wolf came out of the bushes with white toes and bright yellow eyes. Her fur was neglected. She held the wolf cub by the scruff of the neck.
"Please don't kill me," the she-wolf snarled piteously
Only now did Zironka notice that the she-wolf had a deep wound on her side.
"We won't kill you," Gray growled calmly. - How did you get to our lands?
- I left my pack. - growled the stranger - My name is Lada. This is my son Wolfie.
- Where is the wolf cub's father? - inquired Pazur, who was standing behind Zironka.
- He left us. Sirius wanted to become an Alpha. he kicked us out for the sake of office
- Alpha? - Gray growled in surprise
- So we had a mixed pack. There were also dogs and wolves. My great-grandmother was a husky dog.
- Fine. Lado went to our camp
Zironka was going to the camp. As soon as her nose appeared in the camp, the dawn cold ran up to her.
"Zironko, I caught a hare for you," he growled.
                              ▪︎ ▪︎ ▪︎
Lada and Wolfie settled into the pack. Snow "patched" her. Here Gray jumped on the stone cornice and howled, summoning the viche.
- Will play! - he growled - I made an important decision. Lada and Wolfie are now members of our pack.
the little star turned her head and looked at Sharp Fang. His eyes somehow flashed and he squinted. He went somewhere. Zironka decided that she would follow him. The fang crawled into a hole. Zironka smelled a dog.
- Count, are you here? - growled Sharp Fang into the darkness. Zironka looked out. the young she-wolf understood well that this was a risk. She saw a Doberman.
- Yes, Sharp Fang. - barked Dober and bowed - Yes, my Alpha
- I have good news for the pack. - snarled Fang - Softpaw is dead. I moved the snake and it bit and that's it. It is surprising that my flock members did not notice anything. for I did it almost under their noses
The star was struck as if by electricity.
"So that's where these red spots on the paw come from"
- thought the she-wolf.
- Are ours ready for battle? - asked Sharp Fang
The earl bowed once more and licked Fang's paw.
- So everyone is ready, my Alfa. - whimpered Dober.
Part 5.
The news that Bella is pregnant and Gray will become a father has already spread throughout the pack. Zironka had to pretend that she was happy to hear this. To be honest, the she-wolf was not up to the news of the pack. Zironka tried to digest this information. She came out of the cave
then Paw ran up to her.
- Zironko, shall we go for a walk? - he asked.
- Well, let's go - Zironka agreed
They left the camp
- And what should we do? - Zironka growled questioningly
- Um ... let's go to the river to catch fish. - offered Pazur
- Well.. Come on - Zironka growled. They pinched to the river. the sand began to burn Zironchy's paws because the sun warmed it.
And now they are already catching fish. Claw bent down and caught, but unexpectedly he slipped and fell into the river. Zironka burst out laughing
- It's not funny - Claw growled when he emerged from the water with algae hanging on his fur. He went ashore. he shook himself. Zironka cautiously approached the water. I bent down and started fishing, but then someone's paw pushed me into the water. An icy embrace bound the she-wolf. She emerged from the water and looked at Claw, who was giggling happily. Zironka came out of the water. She lay down on the fluffy grass. The claw settled down next to her. the sweet smell filled her nostrils and the she-wolf fell asleep. A few moments passed, as it seemed to Zirontsi, she woke up. Zironka scattered around.
"Is it daytime already?" thought the she-wolf. Then Zironka remembered that she and Paw had gone fishing before dawn.
- Did you go to camp? - Zironka asked.
- Come on - Paw nodded. They walked in silence. A strange feeling came over the young she-wolf. Zironka entered and looked at the stone cornice. Lada was standing there by the leader's cave and Bella was dancing next to her. Zironka decided to approach them. I only she approached, Lada passed through the fern into the leader's cup. Star looked at Bella. Gray's partner's crotch was like a hedgehog. All of her bristled and stood in a combat stance.
"Jealousy," thought the she-wolf. This action was funny to watch. Zironka thought about the fact that she was once just as jealous of Mountain Wind. The mountain wind was a friend of Zironka, but he was captured by people. The young she-wolf pricked up her ears
- Gray, I want to say something. Lada growled.
- Well, tell me - growled Gray.
- I want to leave the pack. - she stammered. - But I'll leave Wolfie here. Because you will give him a better future.
- You don't like something in our pack? Gray growled quite calmly.
- No, everything is fine, I'm just used to living alone. do you understand
- I understand. - Lada came out of the cave. she stood on the stone cornice.
- Wolfie, son! Come to me.
Wolfie came out of the children's cave. Zironka drew attention to the fact that even as a wolf cub, he developed a confident gait.
- My dear son, I have to go. Lada growled
- Hunting? - asked Wolfie.
- No, my sun. - growled the she-wolf - I'm leaving the pack.
Lada came up and licked her son's ears
The son remained silent, but there was understanding in his eyes, which touched Zironka.
- Sorry - growled Lada. The she-wolf had tears in her eyes.
"I know you're doing it for me," Wolfy growled. - I hope Mother Nature will light the way for you
Zironka thought that young Wolfie could become a good leader of the pack.
- Goodbye son - she licked her son for the last time and left.
"I knew it," Zironka heard Pawzur's voice.
to be honest, Zirontsa felt sorry for little Wolfy. The wolf was completely calm, as if he knew that his mother would leave.

                              Part 6
In 2 months. Gray had a son named Rain. The wolf itself was gray, but it had a white spot around its eye. Gray was glad to see his son.
                        ▪︎▪︎▪︎
- He disappeared - Bella's cry was heard throughout the camp. - The rain has disappeared.
The little star was shaking. Thoughts immediately boiled in the she-wolf's head.
Zironka remembered that cry. although at least a month has passed since those events (the wolf lost count a few days ago), Bella has changed a lot. She lost weight by a couple of kilograms, did not hunt much. Gray did not leave her. When Rain disappeared, Gray talked to Wolfie to distract himself. And one day he swam to the stone cornice and howled:
- Flock to me! - all the wolves started huddling.
- Wolfie, get out into the middle of the meadow! - ordered the leader. - Well, I think it's time for Wulfi to take over the service of a puppy ° (a puppy is a wolf cub that has reached the age of eight months). Everyone started congratulating Wolfie.
                    Part 7
half a year has passed. The pack slept peacefully in their camp. How a battle cry cut through the air here. Zironka exploded as if burned. The she-wolf came out of the den. A whole herd of dogs flocked to their camp. There were Dobermans, Cane Corso, Rottweilers, all stray dogs in the world for sure. They were headed by..sharp fang. There stood the assistant Dawn Cold, Black Shadow. , Stormy, January morning
- What is happening here? Gray growled loudly.
- Revenge. - snarled Sharp Fang. - This is a battle for justice!
Gray slowly slid down from the stone ledge.
- My suspicions were confirmed. - Zironka jumped on the spot
"I'm not the only one," thought the she-wolf. Gray looked calm. Here the crowd of vagabonds broke up and a wolf pack came out. He was gray and had a white spot on his eye.
- Rain! Bella growled in shock
- I am no longer Doshchik. I am the Terrible Thunder.
- said Grim arrogantly
- And you, son. - growled Gray. A fire of pain flashed in his eyes
"To battle," shouted Sharp Fang.
Here some vagabond attacked Zironka. The Doberman swooped down, but was knocked down by Claw. Zironka also took to playing with some Rottweiler. The sobatsyura dug its fangs into the she-wolf's shoulder. wild pain burned his shoulder. The battlefield was burning. Here the two packs broke up and Gray and Sharp Fang stepped out into the middle of the clearing. They walked in circles for several long moments, and then Fang jumped and knocked the leader down. They were like a ball. Sharp Fang fell. The old wolf's body convulsed. The enemy is defeated. Gray called the meeting.
- Flock! - growled the leader - This battle was difficult for all of us, we have no right to judge those who betrayed us, it is their decision, Mother Nature is their judge. Gray tilted his face. He must have been thinking of Grom
                          Part 8.
gray stepped out into the middle of the clearing and announced:
"Shit," he growled. "I'm leaving the post of leader." From now on, you will be led by Wolfie.
Gray stepped aside. Wolfie took his place
- I am your new leader. - growled the young wolf - Time to choose an assistant.
Wulf scanned the meadow with his gray gaze
- My assistant will be the Starry Night! Wolf growled
Zironka came out of the pack of wolves. A new era has begun.
