I have never really talked to James before. We studied at the same middle school and high school since our fathers were close friends. He was 1 year older than me so he was practically my senior.

James was kind of different. He was not like the usual jocks who were dumb and busy playing games and getting poor grades. James was actually really intelligent. He topped his classes and was even the captain of the basketball team.

Girls use to swoon over his looks and personality. In one word he was like a Greek God! Each of us had a crush on him. But all my interests about being with him shattered when I learnt the way he treated his exes.

I still remember how Jessica the sweetest and the prettiest girl of our school changed her school just because of the hatred she received by the bullies of the school. Everyone said that James had publicly dumped her and insulted her in the the cafeteria. He also said mean things about her mother who had divorced her dad as she was a drunkard. All these things made her so depressed that she had to change her school.

My perspective about him changed from that day onwards. So I always kept my distance from him. Even in the parties hosted by The Addisons  I always made up an excuse just as to avoid him.

And today I am going to make the man my soulmate whom I feared the most in this world. Most importantly will he ever respect me as he is known to be a ruthless heartbreaker? Also will I be able to save myself from him if he tries to do anything to me coz after all we will be living under the same roof.

As the time approached my anxiety increased.

"Lily are you ready dear? " Emily my best friend and maid of honor called me. As I clenched my dress in fear and nervousness I was walked down the aisle by my Dad... Finally it's time!
