POV of MM

After a fortunately uneventful escort mission, I'm back from Taiwan and returned home.

A lot of things happened when I was away, apparently they're trying to summon another ship girl, I hope it's one of my sisters.

I mean, there's a good chance one of my sisters get summoned. There aren't really that many ships in the Philippine navy.

Though they can also be summoned by the Americans, I know one of them missed the US, personally I would like to go there for a vacation.

But today, I was invited by Carlos to go to a get together for all the sailors the served me.

So of course I accepted, how could I not attend the party when I'm the main star right?

I of course got permission to go, which is nice, some free time is good for the mind.

Anyways I'm here at where there holding the get together, it's a hall they rented for the get together.

After getting there I saw multiple people, some old, some young, actually most of them are young and their wives or husbands, and children too.

And I recognize all of them, the oldest one, name Bihn served me when I was still Vietnamese.

And the youngest one is Juan, who's only 21 when I sunk.

They then noticed me and aprouched me, some of them thought I was a just a random child.

But for the more informed, they know I'm BRP Miguel Malvar herself.

Still they're reactions are good, it's like they're seeing a spirit.

Which technically I am.

"Hello Carlos, who did you bring? Is she your sister?" Asked Den, who's also one of my sailors. His a bit dumb though. Also it seems like he doesn't know am I.

"No?" Carlos answered

"Your girlfriend?" His questions are making me lose brain cells.

"No!"

"Then who is she?"

"She-" I interrupted him before he said anything.

"Hey Den! Look at this" I then showed him one of my fairies, it was his fairy too, the one with a part of his own soul. He also looks and as stupid too.

"Wow, what's this? It looks cute!"

"It's your fairy dumbass!" I hit him in the head, I did it weakly though, since humans aren't really that durable.

"Wait, then are you a ship girl?"

"Yes! But who am I?"

"Miguel Malvar?"

Then a face of disbelief appeared on his face as he realized who he was talking to.

"Oh my God, Im sorry, I really didn't recognize you! Please forgive me!" He apologized reverently which caused the others to laugh at him, making him very embarrassed.

"Its fine, I forgive you" I then patted his head, making him even more embarrassed, which is all part of the plan, or something.

After that, I spent a good time chilling, chatting with the my veterans, telling them my stories and sometimes revealing their secrets to the others for fun. Also spent time playing with their children, showing of my moves and my fairies off to the children. And of course, ate a ton of hotdogs and spaghetti and alcohol too when the children are away.

After hours of fun, it ended as everyone needed to come back home and also I was informed by Carlos that the naval base needed me immediately so I gave my farewells and also took a photo with the whole crew and left.

Then after arriving at the base, I was ushered in the observation deck of the summoning chamber. I saw in the middle of the chamber was multiple tons of steel, barrels of fuel, multiple trinkets from the various ships the Philippines has and lastly, a weird looking device which was apparently called 'development' material.

"Is Miguel Malvar here?" Someone called out to me.

"Yes! Im here" I gave them a wave, seems like the doctor is looking for me.

"Ah, come here! I have to show you something!" It was the doctor who was calling for me

"Ok?" I headed towards him.

"What do you think we're doing, Any guesses Miguel Malvar."

"Hmmm, to summon someone probably"

"Correct! Also we have you here to hopefully increase the chances of a successful summon."

"I see, also where's admiral?"

"Oh he's just there" he then pointed below where the admiral is watching the process intently.

"Also he knows your here now so don't worry"

"I see, but why didn't he atleast greeted me?!"

"I don't know, how about asking him right now?" He suggested, I don't know why I didn't think of the earlier, anyways.

"Actually a great idea doctor! I'm going now!, call me when you need me" I waved him goodbye and left to meet the admiral.

After coming down the stairs I went to the admiral.

I sneakily approached him and decided to try to scare him.

"Admiral, what are you doing?" I said in a sing song voice.

It successfully worked as the admiral was surprised and jumped. Anyways I was scolded but I did not care, his reaction was just too much.

Anyways after that the admiral said that the summoning will take place in a couple minutes so I eagerly waited and hoped that our summoning is a success.

After a couple minutes of waiting, the summoning started. The materials started disappearing, the national anthem was played on full volume and the commander started doing speeches pleading for them to return. I also decided to help by calling them out by myself .

And so I called them out.

"Hello sisters and comrades. As you know I was summoned. It's fun being ot here and also having a second chance is good too you know. But I don't think I'm enough to defend the Philippines alone. So please! Atleast one of you comeback, and im a bit lonely too y'know. Since I'm the only member of the Philippine ship girl fleet so please come back!" I finished my message to them, then I heard something.

"I see sister, I'll return to help you, but in turn. I want to learn everything the world has to offer, so deal?" The unknown voice said to me, but it sounded like one of my sisters.

"Deal" I answered.

Then suddenly a form materialized, all if the materials gathered was absorbed by it, then an explosion happened.

It was loud, my ear are ringing due to that but I saw someone lying in the middle.

She had a similar stature to me, but has a slightly bigger chest. Her clothes are similar to mine but she wore a large colorful weather proof cloak with lots of intricate patterns similar to the patterns used by the Waray people.

"This must be the place.." She said

Then I recognized her she is...

"Ah my introductions, I am RPS Samar. I have come here to study and assist in the defence of the Philippines. I will be in your care admiral."
