THE FIRE

Blitz was a very lanky little devil resembling a jester, with a pointed tail, proportioned hands, pointed feet shod with boots resembling just such boots, and a narrow head with curved horns. His eyes had black lines running down his eyelids, and his sclerae were yellow with red irises. Blitz had crimson red skin with traces of white spots covering his right eye and the tip of his tail was with black stripes. There was a heart-shaped skull drawn on his forehead, because since childhood he had been a clown in a well-known circus in Hell. Blitz was rather playful, self-centered, arrogant, protective and above all aggressive. Adrian opened his eyes wide and lit up those two yellow eyes, thus revealing a medium-sized demon with curved horns with black and white stripes. Adrian Perez fired a shot at the demon, but by then he had taken refuge in another room to hide. Therefore Adrian, before he could fire at the lock, a fierce clawed hand broke through the surface of the door and grabbed the prisoner by the neck. Then the hand, accompanied by the prisoner's screams of terror, pulled Adrian Perez and completely smashed through the door, revealing a tall red-eyed anthropomorphic hellhound. Loona was an anthropomorphic hellhound with a pointed, dog-like muzzle with sharp, pointed teeth and a dark gray nose. Her eyes had a red sclera with black and white irises. Her fur was white with gray surrounding her face, she had gray patches on her shoulders and long, voluminous silver hair worn to the side that revealed her dark gray ears. She had a large thick dark gray tail with white on the underside. She had clawed hands, and instead of feet, she had white clawed paws. Loona was determined, brave, loyal, sensitive, friendly, tender and sweet with her close friends, but aggressive, cold and reserved with strangers. That clawed hand lifted Adrian off the ground, and the terrifying hellhound stared at him with piercing eyes, snarling and ready to maul his face. But the demon threw Adrian down the stairs as soon as the prisoner kicked her snout. Adrian, scared to death, got up in pain with still the shotgun in his arms and fled to the upper floors as the anthropomorphic hellhound frantically climbed the stairs to kill him. Adrian Perez broke through a door of another dwelling and threatened two adults with the shotgun as they watched a movie on television.

Adrian: "ON THE GROUND!!! ON THE GROUND, I SAID!!! MOVE!!! WHERE'S THE EXIT?" he demanded furiously and agitatedly, swinging his shotgun menacingly.

The two adults became frightened and sprawled on the ground as they shivered with heavy breathing.

Adult: "On the terrace ... there is a ... ladder!!! Don't hurt...us!!!" he exclaimed frightened and trembling, as the prisoner kicked the other adult in the ribs.

Adrian ran toward the terrace doors as the frightening figure of the anthropomorphic hellhound entered the dwelling, scaring the two adults to death. Adrian turned around attracted by the pure screams of terror and, before the demon could kill him, broke through the terrace doors and went out in search of the ladder ladder mentioned by the adult. Only a sniper's bullet created a very strong intense burn on the prisoner's arm, as another demon from a distance had failed to hit the antagonist well. Moxxie was a demon with red skin and white freckles on his cheeks. His spiky white hair went up to his sinuous black-and-white striped horns. He also had a yellow sclera with what appeared to be no irises and only slit pupils. Moxxie had a long, thin red tail with a quadrilateral tip at the end, as well as lanky digitigrade legs that ended in what appeared to be split red hooves, reminiscent of artiodactyls. Moxxie was sensitive, paranoid, very awkward, playful, and engaged to Millie. Adrian grunted in pain and touched his arm, but Loona threw a right hook to his temple with a shoulder attack. Adrian was catapulted against the wall and the anthropomorphic hellhound threw him inside the dwelling, smashing a window. Glass shards embedded themselves in Adrian's face and many glass crystals ended up in the prisoner's eyes. Adrian, crawling backward and blinded, aimed his rifle in Loona's direction with blurred vision and fired a shot, but missed, which ricocheted and ended up piercing a boiler. No one noticed anything, and as that hole released some very dangerous gas, Loona stretched out the claws of her right hand and licked her lips, eager to slaughter the killer. Before she could try to kill him, the boiler exploded causing a very serious explosion, but more importantly a tremendous fire. The floor beneath them collapsed and the flames spread like an untouchable flu. Adrian Perez screamed and fled to a hallway where the flames were about to eat him alive, while the anthropomorphic hellhound was thrown against a wall, which was broken through. Loona rolled into a small child's room and, flustered and furious as she searched for Adrian Perez, got back up, but screams from a child straightened her ears. Loona stopped and looked around confusedly, searching her eyes for the infant's screams. Soon after, she managed to find a sweet little baby in a crib crying in fright at the Hell in progress. Loona felt pity for that baby, almost sorry, she could not leave him there. It was as if fate was telling her that she had to save his life, an inner force urged her to take him and care for him. Loona quickly took the baby in her arms and ran for an escape route. As the flames burned the building, the walls were collapsing and the floor was melting under the hellhound's two paws. Also frightened, and holding the baby close to her chest, she jumped and dodged any obstacle with determination as Blitz, Millie and even Moxxie joined her. The four demons ran desperately, as explosions poked holes in the building and showed the night town of Villafranca di Verona.

Blitz: "Loony!!! Are you crazy? Why do you have that child with you?" he exclaimed surprised and frightened, as he ran away from the flames.

Loona: "Not now, Blitz! Let's save our asses first!!!" she exclaimed furiously and agitatedly.

Suddenly, a helicopter flew over the perimeter of the burning building and machine-gunned the walls of the structure, right near where the four fleeing demons were. Abruptly, the ceiling collapsed in front of them and blocked a door, so Millie exclaimed:

Millie: "FOLLOW ME!!!" she exclaimed agitatedly, with a giant axe in her hand.

Millie was an imp, like Moxxie and Blitz, with a long demonic tail with white markings. She had eyes composed of yellow sclerae and black pupils. She had long black eyelashes that extended beyond the sides of her hair. She had two black horns with three white stripes and grayish black hair and bangs covering half of her right horn. She had a beauty mark on her left cheek and a gap between her front teeth. Millie was a very lively and cheerful person, often with a smile on her face and rarely standing still. She was clearly outgoing and not afraid to speak her mind. In addition, Millie was Moxxie's girlfriend. Millie, followed by her hellish friends, cut and smashed through a wall cleanly, revealing another hallway. Loona, Millie, Moxxie and Blitz ran frantically toward the end of the corridor, while behind them everything was collapsing thanks to the hot flames of the fire.

Moxxie: "SOMEONE OPEN A PORTAL!!! NOW!!!" he exclaimed agitatedly, as he pointed his finger at an open gap in the wall showing the outside.

Blitz: "I'LL THINK ABOUT IT!!!" he shouted gritty and anxious as he grabbed the Grimoire, a magical book for accessing both Hell and the Human World.

The hellish crew ran howling with adrenaline, and Blitz, gesturing with his fingers and following the Grimoire's instructions, opened a portal out of the structure, suspended in the void and down the hall.

Millie: "WE MUST JUMP!!! TOGETHER!!!" she exclaimed anxiously and terrified.

Loona: "C'mon, GUYS!!! GO!!! FASTER!!!" she shouted anxiously and frightened.

With a synchronized leap, the four demons leapt into the void and went through the bluish portal as a huge black cloud of flames erupted behind them. The building was falling apart, and a high torrent of ash rose into the starry sky as a heroic league perimetered the entire building to rescue victims caught in the flames. A colossal and imposing airship was suspended in the sky watching the disaster wrought by the demons, while inside the control room an authority figure watched in horror and disgust as the fire rose into the sky. Away from the disaster, prisoner Adrian Perez limped to escape the palace and was suddenly drawn in by a loud explosion coming from the distance. Adrian turned around and watched the palace blow up and be enveloped in a mega cloud of flames and ash, but most of all that giant airship of the Heroic League. Adrian sighed relieved and coughed, but was immediately surrounded by the Police and Carabiniers . Police and Carabiniers pointed their guns at him, and finally the prisoner raised his hands in surrender. That insignificant and chaotic moment had started something that could no longer be fixed, and now the whole world had to accept its fate.
