"Yes, Mom," I said as I stuck a piece of toast in my mouth and slipped on my shoes and jacket, it had started to get colder since Fall was rolling around and I was not happy. No one likes the cold and if you do? Well, you're a psychopath, and on top of that, the days are shorter who likes the season fall? I would hate winter too if it weren't for Christmas and New Year's. But overall those two seasons sucked.

"I know honey just find something nice to wear please?" My mom said from the kitchen as I rushed to get out the door.

"Yeah, yeah I'll wear something nice I gotta go I'm gonna be late!" I yelled back, and with that, I was out the door. I hoped in my black sports car it was a 2021 911 Porche Targa, it had red leather seats and it was a convertible so if I wanted the roof off I just had to press a button.

I loved my car and was proud because I had paid for half of it myself by working for some of my parent's clients and friends, a lot of them own many houses so when it came to selling, staging, or decorating them they always reached out to me to paint them something because they liked my style of art. However I was lucky because my parents paid for the other half and everything else, it was a really expensive car but I use it to do doordash so I have money to pay for it whenever it needs to be repaired or filled with gas. My parents taught me at a young age how to use money and pay for my own things by working hard.

I pulled up to the school and pressed the button that made the roof move back on before locking up my car and walking into the school.

"Hey Rider what's up?!" Bryce yelled appearing by my side and slinging his arm around my shoulder.

"Nothing today I have a pretty easy schedule just PE, Art, and Biology," I said fist bumping some guys on the way into school.

"Dude, have you talked to Liam recently? He's always busy! I think he's actually into his hookup from the party look what he posted on his story." Bryce showed me his phone screen. It was a picture of them cuddling while playing video games, but I was already too busy looking at the background. There was Evan and some random girl sitting next to him in the beanbags and he looked pretty comfortable around her.

"Who's that?" I asked pointing to the girl sitting next to Evan.

"Ha- are you jealous about your boy toy liking some other girl." Bryce teased.

"No, I'm worried that he already has a girlfriend or is attached to someone, that'll make it 10 times harder to get him to fall in love with me," I groaned. "And don't call him a toy," I said with a scoff. Bryce just rolled his eyes.

"Well I mean you're using him, right? So technically he's a toy." Bryce explained.

"Bryce, why are you acting like an asshole right now?" I asked.

"He's not an asshole just an idiot he doesn't even know what he's doing wrong," Liam said from behind Bryce walking up to us.

"You guys always team up on me, like what did I do?" Bryce asked.

"Exist." Me and Liam both said at the same time. Bryce just scoffed and pouted like the idiot he was when I realized something on Liam's neck. I hooked my finger on his collar and yanked down the shirt revealing way too many hickeys.

"Holy shit that can't be healthy." I teased. Liam flipped me off and quickly pulled his collar back up.

"What the hell Rider!" Liam snapped. I burst out laughing and continued to tease him about it until the bell rang.

Me and Liam were in the same PE class, which contained about 130 people. We had a really big school and the school combined kids from different grades to be in the same PE period. Evan was in our PE class too along with Josh and I could already tell Liam was excited to see his new boyfriend.
