MINSUNG
Feel it like timely rain that seeps into my dry heart
No other answer is needed
Because you're my favourite
No words can describe it.
You're my only Bambi.
Minho brushed the young girls hair back as gently as he could, pulling it tightly into a ponytail before wrapping it up in a bun, bobbypin between his lips.
"I'm sorry Minho, my dad didn't have time to do my hair, and I tried to do it myself but I just couldn't."
"Don't worry Soomin, you could've come to me right away." The young girl was rather new in his ballet class for 4-7 year olds, still a bit shy and only warming up slowly to the other girls.
He had found her in front of the mirror in the hallway to the dance room, trying to tie her hair up and huffing in frustration when her little hands couldn't wrap the hairtie around it.So he had gently asked her to come with him, and was now sitting on the ground of his dance room, the girl inbetween his legs.
"All done, you can come to me anytime okay sweetheart?"
She nodded, getting up full of excitement to look at her hair closely in the mirror wall. "You do it better than my dad, he always curses and it ends up wobbly. Thank you so much Minho!" She seemed to glow.
He laughs, then gathered all the kids flodding into the room one by one, some accompanied by a worried mother, some confidently alone.
Minho always allowed the parents into the room if the kids wanted that, he understood the amount of anxiety that came with first steps into dancing.
And the parents adored him, always thanking him at the end of lessons for being so gentle.
He guessed that was just his nature, patiently showing the kids new ballet moves, letting them explore the elegance and correcting their legs carefully every now and then.
In the end while saying goodbye he handed the kids small flyers, they planned on doing a small performance for the parents and relatives, and Minho encouraged them to invite everyone and show them how well they danced.
He also gave the girl he had done the hair of earlier a flyer, patting her head before waving goodbye. While closing up the dance studio he heard voices outside. Apparently the girl was the last one to get picked up now, 15 minutes after class ended.
"I'm sorry angel, I didn't want to keep you waiting. I'll apologize with a movie night, okay?"
The little girl screamed with excitement. "YESS WITH ICE CREAM AND COCO."
"Coco? Nooo that movie always makes dad cryyy." The man, Minho highly guessed her dad, whined. "Your hair is so cute, did your friends mom do it?"
"No, I wanted to do it myself but I just couldn't, Minho helped me then."
"Oh your dance teacher? That is really nice of him." He heard the smile in the mans voice.
"And he gave me this, dad, will you come see me perform??"
The man sighed, Minho waited at the door of his room, not wanting to disturb the two. "I'll try my best, you know how much I work. If I can't make it I'll send Binnie or Channie. You'll have someone watching you."
It took a while before he heard the girls response, the voices now fainter, them walking away. "But I want you to see it dad, pleaseeee."
Minho now noticed, he had never seen Soomins dad, usually parents came atleast for the first few lessons. But Soomin only had a guy around his own age bring her into the room for the first lesson, cheering for her and telling her he would tell her dad how well she did.
