Ryuu

Gracefully she twirls in front of me mid-walk with the wind blowing through her pink hair.
Her rosy plump lips keep moving yet I can't make out what she's saying I feel lost.
She's probably rambling about her day like usual however I'm paying no attention to her since I'm observing my surroundings anxiously wondering if cops would show up.
We're walking down a busy alleyway with only the street lights and shops illuminating through the dark.

"Are you even listening?" Hinami asks me trying to match my pace by slowing down as she was ahead of me before.
"Oh yeah...continue talking."
I quickly answered to avoid getting her mad knowing she already was pretty furious when we met up since she fought with Makoto.
I just can't stop thinking about Aoi, he killed himself and it's all my fault.
I'm so nervous to the point I finally light up the cigarette resting between my fingers.
What if they call the cops on me and arrest me? God, I fucked up I shouldn't have bullied him.

Hinami grabs my hand as we roam through the street on our way home  "I notice you are distracted, is it because of Aoi?" Hinami asks while she swings my arm playfully.
Inhaling the smoke and letting it sit in my lungs results in me coughing harshly. I thought breathing in a lot of nicotine at once would cause me to relax.

"Jeez, well you sure seem worried about him but listen Ryuu no one cares about that kid he's gay and that's disgusting and on top of that, we don't know if he's dead all we saw was him jumping off the roof." she's trying to reassure and justify my actions again. Deep down I know Aoi couldn't have survived it, he hit the ground, and blood splattered everywhere.
We all were witnesses watching him bleed out as some teachers tried to keep everyone away until an ambulance arrived.
Once we reached our front door I threw away my cigarette and grabbed Hinami by her shoulder.

"Let's stop talking about it and also don't tell your parents anything," I warn her quietly before we enter our home.

As Hinami takes off her shoes her mother comes dashing to us holding onto something.
Mrs. Usagi points the object at Hinami and up close I realize it's a pregnancy test.
"Hinami Usagi explain why I found a positive pregnancy test in your drawer." She demands to know from the pink-haired girl.
Mr.Usagi appears behind his wife sharing the same enraged impression as her.
Immediately after removing my shoes, I stand behind Hinami trying to listen in.

"Mom I wanted to tell you when the time is right I swear." She explains nervously.

"You plan on keeping the baby? Are you out of your mind? How can you take care of the child while still being one yourself?" Mrs.Usagi yells infuriated crossing her arms.

"Who's the Father then?" Hinami stiffens from Mr. Usagis's question.

I was aware of Hinami being pregnant but I didn't think Mrs. Usagi would find out so soon.
It's her abusive Boyfriend Makoto he used to be good friends with me but we drifted apart when I found out how he treated Hinami.
Yet deep down I have no bad blood towards him since he was always there for me when I needed him the most.
I have known Hinami for ages meaning I'm not choosing sides because Hinami lies more than she says the truth.

"It's Ma-" Hinami begins but I interrupt her quickly because Makoto doesn't deserve this. "It's me Mr.Usagi I'll take full responsibility!"

Hinami and her parents looked at me terrified after what just escaped my mouth.
Not wasting a second Hinami's father slaps me across the face making me tumble onto the floor.
It stings so badly.

"We raised you for your mother's sake! My wife's best friend! Only for you to pull something like this? How dare you?" He spat harshly causing Hinami to stand before me to shield my body.
