Deku still couldn't figure out why he had been 'rescued'. He was perfectly happy living with his family, his parents had left him behind. He didn't know why the heroes kept talking about his 'kidnapping' and how it must've been 'traumatic' that's why he doesn't speak.
Sure his family had fights but he wouldn't call those traumatic, and watching his older brother turn people to dust is only scary once or twice. He hasn't heard from his brother in a while, he hopes he wasn't taken as well. Deku snapped out of his chain of throught when someone snapped their fingers infront of his face. He zoned back in, "hm?" He asked looking at the only normal person who didn't treat him like glass in this school. "Can you repeat that?" He asked
