The School of 6 Elements..

Chapter 8, The First Day

So, a few weeks pass and it's the first day of school! "Are you sure I even belong there?" Frost asked nervously, "I'm sure you're supposed to be there" her mother assured her. "If you say so.." Frost said while grabbing a brand new sceptre, this one wasn't a single use, but one you can use until you break it. "We've practiced haven't we?" Her mother asked "I know we have, mom." Frost said annoyed, she used her sceptre and opened a portal to 'Castle Entrance', where she would go to the 'Front Office' and claim her 'Royale High Welcome Pack'. She took a deep breath, "Bye mom, I'll see you at the holidays" Frost assured her. She took another deep breath and stepped in.
She saw she had been teleported in front of the gates, "That's fine, I can still enter, right?" She thought to herself, she walked to the gates and they opened! "Neat" She thought, the guards bowed to her again, she jumped with the first one, she didn't the other ones, Frost saw Rose talking with Lucas and she walked over there "Hi guys" Frost said calmly "HEY FROST!! AAAA, I'VE MISSED YOU!" Rose shouted in excitement while she hugged her tightly, "Uhm.. No hugging.. Please" Frost asked and Rose immediately let go. "Sorry!" She apologised "It's okay, I've missed you as well" Frost smiled warmly "Let's go!" Rose said excitedly, Frost gave a nod of approval and walked with her and Lucas inside, "Lucas is kind of quiet.. Oh well" Frost thought. They were all walking in the 'Castle's Heart' when they reached the 'Front office' and walked in. Poppy greeted them all warmly and gave them their 'Royale High Welcome Packages'. They walked out and they all stopped at their lockers, they were next to each other, but, Frost looked aside and then saw Demonic standing by the locker beside hers "Aw, were you missin' me already?" He said with a grin "Oh shut up, I wouldn't miss you one bit." Frost said coldly, Rose looked at Frost, not knowing how cold her reactions could be.
Frost turned to her friends "Shall we look for our next class?" she asked grabbing her agenda "Yeah, we probably should" Rose said, also grabbing her agenda, Lucas followed. "I have potions." Frost said, looking up from her agenda, "Oh, me too!" Rose said excited, smiling. "Oh, I have P.E." Lucas said "I guess I'll see you guys later?" "Yep! We'll be there!" Rose waved while Lucas walked off "Let's get to potions" Rose said calmly "Yeah, let's do that" Frost gave a small smile and they walked to potions class.
They both walked into the class, looking around the room while going to sit on their seats.
"Hello everyone and welcome to potions class!" The teacher spoke "My name is Mrs. Elixir and I am your potions teacher!" Mrs. Elixir spoke in excitement of the new school year. "This looks boring.." Rose said, "It's not, it's really really exciting." Frost looked at Rose in a joke type of annoyance, Rose laughed, "Ms. Flame, stop laughing!" Mrs. Elixir said in annoyance "Sorry!" Rose said and the lesson started.
The bell rang and Mrs. Elixir spoke "Okay class, remember, there is no homework from me for the entire month!" She opened the door and let the students walk outside of the room. Frost and Rose walked to their lockers to meet up with Lucas, but they saw Demonic bullying him! "What the heck?!" Frost said pushing Demonic aside, "Oh calm down Frosty, it was just a 'joke'" Demonic said as he laughed "Shut up Demonic!" Rose shouted "Oh for god's sake, shut up, you're literally a half dragon and a nature fairy, how'd your mom even pull your dad? He's a WAY higher rank" He laughed once again. Rose was furious and her hair glowed with an orange-red flare "That makes me a higher rank than you, doesn't it?!" Rose spoke with an echo, "Rose, calm down, I'm sure he did not mean it" Frost assured her "I'm just saying she's an outcast" Demonic said with a smirk "Plus, weren't you like, homeschooled all your life? Oh wait, not when you were 4, what happened? Oh.. Right, you froze the room" His grin grew wider, now Frost was furious. "OH? SO NOW WERE LYING? YEAH?" Frost spoke before the ends of her hair froze and formed ice crystals, also her hands glowing, ice crystals forming in her palms, the floor under her formed ice crystals as well "Calm down Frosty" he said still grinning "We all know it happened~" "YOU LITTLE PIECE OF-" Rose stopped her there, trying to calm her, she had already helped Lucas up and had put him on a bench, she took Frost away then he walked away.
After Lucas was sent away they all walked back to the lockers and Frost sighed "Sorry for lashing out like that, I don't know why he started lying.." frost apologised "Let's just check our agenda's" She sighed and grabbed her agenda out of her bag, she looked at it, so did Lucas and Rose "I have.. Element training" Frost said and looked up, "I have.. 'spices?'" Rose looked up confused until she realised, "Oh! Probably something with cooking!" "I have.. Art" Lucas said and looked up "I guess we don't have any classes together right now" Rose said "Meet up here?" Frost asked and the others nodded.
She walked to her classroom and walked inside "Hello!" The teacher said "Have a seat next to.. Demonic!" Demonic smirked at the sight of Frost, she sighed and sat next to him, putting her stuff on the table "Came back anyway?" Demonic chuckled like a jerk, Frost ignored him and listened to the teacher. "My name is Mr. Hopper!" He spoke "Today we will check if you're not lying about your element." He said in a very serious tone. "Alright let's begin!" He said in a more excited tone "Let's start with.. Holly!" All the student went one by one.
"Alright, now let's do.. Demonic!" He did the test, surprisingly, he didn't lie. "Now.. Frost!" Mr. Hopper said and Frost she came up to the front of the class. "Hm.." He said "You lied for 50%.." "What?" Frost said confused "You have Ice.. But you also have.. Fire!" He said surprised and looked at Frost surprised "A double Magix student! With powers that eliminate each other! I'm honoured, this is so rare!" He said in awe "It.. is?" Frost asked "Yes, did you not study this? Well you'll have to study both Elements!" Mr. Hopped said, and the bell rang "Okay students, make sure study your element!" He said while everyone walked out of the classroom.
The 3 friends met at the lockers "I think this is the end for today.." frost said and they nodded, they went upstairs to the Dormitories.
