Ladies and gentle-germs… Umm, sorry about that, turns out men make me sick but anyway
gentlemen, let’s began where my life was peaceful.
I was sitting by my computer, minding my probably sad life’s business (at that point of my life) and I was doing research (mostly because it my job as a mythologist) on an old folk’s legend. It was about an elf prince who was taking shelter in a magical forest after been injured in battle. The forest’s guardian found him and healed him, when he awoke, he saw the forest guardian and thanked her for saving him however he was captured within the beauty of the guardian. The prince sent most of his time in the forest with the guardian, eventually they both fell in love.
He (the prince) then abandoned his duties and the kingdom decided to marry him off to an elf princess named Nora.Despite been married to the princess, he kept on visiting the forest to see and love the guardian. When Nora found out about this, out of anger she killed the guardian and doomed the prince into a life of loneliness by cursing him to become a dragon.
He willingly accepted the curse because the guardian in her dying breath promised the prince that she would meet him in
her next life. So he waits for her in the forest because she is the dragon’s sweetheart. That’s why gentle-germs, don’t cheat because you will never know the lady you are with, for all you know she could a gremlin waiting for you slip up so she can torment you for the rest of your life or worse maybe the local sociopath, nah… She can be the reason why there would be an hour long
documentary about your life and why she made you… Well a corpse. There is no other source however or origin, just the location of the forest. Maybe I should check itout.
The very next day, I am standing in front of the forest, admiring the different shades of green and
finding wonder in how lovely the birds chirp. Like a naïve child, I wonder into the forest without a map and unware of the dangers I may face. Honestly I don’t know what I am looking for? What do I
find to prove the legend?I don’t know for how long I was walking aimlessly but my legs are giving up and guess what I ran out of water. I want to give up but I can’t, I need some kind of proof, but what? What am I looking for?
As I draw closer to an opening within the forest, I heard the sound of a waterfall. I used the last bit of energy left in me and run to the direction of the sound. As the trees start become more and more spaced out and I can see the rays of the sun peak through, the sound gets louder.I am suddenly greeted by bright sunlight which blinds me for a few moments but my legs give up and the skin of my palm, knees, elbows and face scrapes against the rough ground. I slowly pick myself up, trying toignore the stinging of the wounds and the pain that is screaming through my body.
I slowly yet painfully walk to the pound. The pain doesn’t stop but either can I.
I slowly bend down and slowly place my knees against the ground, I took off my backpack from my back and took out
the water bottles from inside.
I fill up the bottles before I drink from one, within seconds the bottle was empty again, I filled it up again and packed everything away. I looked at the clear water I could clearly see my reflection. The small parts of my blonde hair stuck against my forehead, the high pony
tail I had, looks like a bird’s nest, I look like I came from running with all that sweat covering some parts of my face. You could hardly see the honey coloured skin that I had, I have a small button nose and emerald eyes, my features are soft and I have a rounded face. With some water, I wash off the sweat.I look around, the pound is beautiful. The pound was some rocks surrounding the corners of it, the
waterfall flows down into the pound in a calm flow, the waterfall makes the pound have a bit of a tide to it, there’s many different shades of colours that grow on the rocks and around it, how did I just notice that? While I was admiring the beauty of it, I was suddenly pulled back and my back hit
the ground and was been pinned down by masked men.
I tried to pull myself out of the grips of the men.
“She’s beautiful” one said.
‘’I don’t care, tie her up!” one commanded as I looked at them and I tried to free myself.
“Yes boss” one of them replied.
“Before you do that knock her out, I hate wriggling worms” the ‘boss’ said.“Please let me go!’’ I pleaded as I tried to fight.
The “boss’’ leaned over to my face and stared into my eyes, I would see the evilness shimmering in his eyes.
“Oh, hunny! No one passes the borders of Evara without Namjoon getting rid of them, so you must be very precious to him” he stated sinisterly. That was the last thing I heard before I felt something sharp poke into my neck.
The world around me became a blur and then it faded into nothing.
I heard muffled voices as I try to open my eyes, I tried to move but I’m tied with ropes around my
arms. Not only am I tied up but I am also blindfolded.“What do you mean?” Someone said in agony.
“I don’t know this women!’’ a deep voice replied.
“She was in your property!” the other replied.
I heard a sigh.
“I’ve met so many enemies in my life time but clearly you’re the most pathetic one of them all” a voice said coldly.“Take her! One day I will find something you care about!” the person said with anger as he threw me.
My heart was beating fast as I thought that I was going to hit the floor, I didn’t rather I felt a strong grip wrap around me.
“Miss are you okay?’’ a soft voice asked.
I nodded.
“Yoongi, take her inside” a deep voice commanded.
“Yes, will do Namjoon” the person replied.
“wh-where am I?” I asked as soon I gained enough energy.
